this change also remove the 5% speed and height debuff from charging your shurikens, which is not much, but if you factor the fact that shuri is a speed blitzer and his health is chewy as hell, it would be a very annoying thing

From what I can see with shuri's new e, if sombody looks at you when you turn invisible, they can still see you while you're invisible to everybody else. I'm assuming this is to make the E less of a get-out-of-jail-free card and more of an option to approach the battle and get flanks on people to catch them off guard. Dunno how to feel about this but ig we'll see how shuri plays when it's added to main game

yeahh i get that they wanna give E some counters but the range where people can see invis shuri is a bit too large lol I think with a bit of buffs to its invisibility it can actually be a pretty good tool like how you mentioned tho

yeah the clones just created that mind game that I really liked originally especially in annihilate It was SUPER easy to track them down when they were invisible as scythe I felt kinda bad for shuri 😭they gotta shorten the range for enemies to see invis shuri or make him completely invisible for a short amount of time And happy new years to you as well!!! :DD

In my opinion, I don't think his m1 attack needs a change. But I do think his m2 needs on since it's so annoying that if you attacked someone one the back, sometimes it wont give it a anti heal.

Honestly after a bit of testing the dps isn’t as bad compared to other phighters like Scythe and katana. But yeah that m2 range has to be increased or something I cannot get a hit in at times even to a larger character like ban 😭 Also Happy New Year’s!!!! :3

His E before was so useful because of the clones, You could make clones of not only yourself, but your teammates too and your clones of yourself can even shoot ninja stars and they target who you’re attacking your own ninja stars with. But the new E honestly needs some improvement, like I guess i can see what they’re tryna implement like a “ninja” vibe, but honestly I feel like the invisibility could be treated better with like idk a mini smokebomb that makes the enemy that was targeted not able to see anyone near them unless they get out of the smoke and the smoke stays there until like 7-8 seconds but overall honestly my opinion in the m2 really is a bit neutral, nothing has really changed but the duration of how long you can hold m2

I feel like maybe the m1 reload could use a nerf or reload. Shuriken's kit is mainly things that have long recharge, so i think it fits. Also miss that m1 noise. Maybe a rework would be to make it so that having 2 shots would go one by one as normal, but 3 would give the spread. Either nerfing the damage or making it like the other suggestion could make it balanced

yeah that m1 felt WAY too fast and spammable like to the point where the spread didn’t feel like it had a purpose that’s honestly not bad of an idea too tho it would help keep the original holding down to charge shots mechanic but rework it in a way that makes its spread shot feel more impactful!

I feel like the E needs some buff still. It's so slow of a start up and doesn't really provide much of a use for a retreat option since people see you anyways while being the same speed afterwards. Aside from that, I think this Shuri rework is pretty cool, though I think some changes to the m2 could be done.

@ Actually no, hold on. After using it more I’m an E hater rn. There’s no real situation that Shuriken would want to use this ability. It makes him weaker with the start up lag and is generally just useless since you can lose it easily and it generally doesn’t even work because of the detection area. It doesn’t work well as an escape option, entry option, ambush option OR an attacking option.

It honestly sucks, most of these changes. This is pretty much an overall nerf, minus a few small things. So many useless changes. M2 didn't need to change at all and charging it actually forced a little strategy in when you should release it. E needed a serious change so they just removed it entirely, instead of just thinking about it for a few second. And q is the clunkiest move in the entire game yet received no changes whatsoever. And they nerfed anti-heal, the most situational status in the entire game. The only decent things are his m1 and ult, otherwise this is just yet another Shuriken nerf that had no reason to happen. It honestly feels like they have no clue how to make Shuriken both interesting, and balanced.

Yeah the m1 was honestly a little strange especially considering they also removed the speed and jump decrease when holding 3 shots which balanced out holding it for too long as shuri wants to be agile. Luckily, they’re not in the main game yet so hopefully the devs can make some adjustments before adding them in completely.
