Hi, thanks for the hard work doing these reviews. I want to buy an inexpensive ATSC Digital Converter Box, single or dual ota DVR with an hdmi output. I will be using it in a national forest with a projector and with little or no internet reception (I mainly just need CBS and FOX local channels). I own the clearstream 2v antenna and I know the towers are under 30 miles away. I would like the easiest interface possible. I looked at the airtv player but it requires internet. I also checked out the tablo dual hdmi but was hoping to spend a little less. I also looked at the mediabox homeworx, iview 3500stbiii and ematic AT103B. What are your favorite set top tuners with the features I want? TIA

Thanks for watching i appreciate it. For set top tuners i go with anything that's cheap and works. I did some research and found that most basic digital converter boxes on the market are cheap- under $30. So in that regards any brand will do the job. As far as and being only 30 miles from the tv towers you should be good. I currently use a homemade antenna.

SMH: Did not show it in action, wasted time on 12/24 hours setting and other nonsuch. Wish you should have talked about its reception quality, and what do they mean by recording? For $30 it can’t be a DVR. so what is meant by “recording”?

You can connect a hard drive and record live tv. I should've mentioned it in the video.
