That's OK BMX streets is good but not as good as the hype led on. Mod maps are the only thing saving the game right now.

​@@neonnerd1364 yeah i have to agree there is a lot lacking in the main game especially the map imo. theres some cool spots but it's just not polished like i would expect in the most expensive game i ever bought (paid like $80 CAD at release). lots of gaps in the walls and floor just left open for you to fall in while looking for the hidden boxes.. You see a cave and think "oh that looks sick, a secret little area" and you realize its just a forgotten corner that was never finished and you just fall off the map. I would think one afternoon placing invisible walls or extending the floor some would prevent 75% of that. but with that being said, for his first game, it's not bad and is certainly better than i would be willing to do

@@bmxscape ya I agree with that. The map had the potential to be really good but there was just so much empty space. I paid $40 usd the day it came out and at first it was really cool but once you start getting through challenges it loses it's fun. My main thing with the game is there's no story line at all. Like with the skate series we had a decent story line that you'd actually get invested in had me not wanting to put the controller down. In streets the time trial challenge at the very beginning had me wanting to quit constantly. You can tell the game was rushed to release. It still has serious potential but mash needs to work on one thing at a time and update the game instead of reinventing the entire game at once. Lots of people are giving up on the game already because of the lack of updates and new content. I know exactly what caves you're talking about though. There's the one on the right side of the road right before the downtown section that just takes you behind buildings where you aren't meant to be.

i'm very excited to see how streets will feel with this new physics update, the latest version of mash box feels pretty interesting i would say. i'm just a little scared that it will feel extremely different because i already enjoy the game as it is right now. but we will see! i trust mash that he knows what he's doing there.

Totally get the frustration. I bought PIPE as soon as it was out for console and constantly followed updates and projected release dates. This is their first game and it’s not a huge team like one that makes COD every year. RDR2 took 8 years with a thousand people working on it. If he has to use this to rebuild his physics engine for streets like he said he’s doing. Why not put it out so people can see progress and keep hope? Whether or not this game is out isn’t going to make the console version come out sooner. The work is getting done regardless of this exists because this is the work. If it’s out to the public what does it matter. The console port isn’t going to be out any slower because he’s putting the new physics engine on steam.

@colbygargiulo101 have you played pipe by bmx streets? It's the console version rn. But it's more difficult then that and when I flick the stick it sometimes doesn't work, might just be a skill issue, I unlocked a bunch of bike parts already after 2 hours of playing but haven't customized the bike yet, if I were to give it a review I'd say 8/10 but that's only a couple hours of gameplay

@colbygargiulo101 pipe is basically a demo for streets so if you were to get one I'd say streets, it's only $20 usd rn on steam so it's not too spendy, I'm gunna play it more cause I liked it

the main reason the game is going through so many changes is for console. pc launch was rough and they are trying to fix all the complaints before they put it out on console. my guess would be sometime next year we will see it come to console

Yes, it's coming to console. No, we don't have a release date. Mash is using MashBox (program in the video) to tweak and work on physics for street. Once the game is where he wants it, he's going to release the console version. He's said many times that the success of his dev company is heavily dependent on a good console release. The game is coming.

I’m all for it… if they would put it on console.. it’s not just this game/devs but like all these action sports games that so many people want to play but don’t have pc (it’s not as simple to just get one as you want to think) and then the games only every come out on pc.. usually not even completely then more games get made such as this but it’s also pc locked 😂😭🤣😤🤪🤢

Now if you even bought it in the first place, then you’re probably in the minority of people who could not get I’ve true learn curve of the game so they called it bad. If you’re still able to refund the game, then you didn’t even try long enough clearly. Bmx streets is better than any skateboard game you have ever played (except maybe skate 3 if you’re talking about buggy things), and readers republic isn’t even remotely close. Ur ass at a game so it’s buggy? Was it buggy because you were trying to manual and you kept falling back too far and crashing? Not everyone has $500-1000 lying around to drop on a new PC. Plus the game isn’t good enough to do that. It’s ok but not great. It’s unfinished and kinda boring after a while. The mod maps are keeping it afloat not too much different than SkaterXL.
