I looked at the party. It felt weird to have so much joy and celebration at an awful time like this. With my sister dead, and having to fight my mother, life was fairly awful at the moment. But I was grateful to have so much support in my life. My partner, my friends and my half-siblings were all here, even if one or two had to to say goodbye.
