Imagine if a Grandmother bought the "new" slim alone for Christmas, no other attainments,. You now have a coaster, you can't play any games unless you buy the PS extra online subscription. Bam over $600 without a drive.

I really dislike that split in the middle of the panels. And the disc drive somehow looks even more out of place than the original. If you already have either of the existing PS5s ... I don't see why anyone would want the Slim versions. Especially if you are more interested in the PS5 Pro.

5nm die shrink don't come for free, bigger 1Tb storage. The PS5 Slim is also more power efficent Only in US cos they never got the price increase before

2 in a half TBs isn't that much more storage...2TB, that's good for 3 or 4 games of extra storage.... That's with games that don't have a lot downloadable content.....I would advise anybody that want a slim to hold out until the price drops.....or you better off keep gaming on the OG PS5 consoles..... 🕹️🎮🕹️🎮🕹️🎮🕹️🕹️

The new version of the PS5 looks much better. The disk drive fits in perfectly is symmetry , and the lights have a modern touch. The PS5 now has a more curved design.
