They released saints row 4 almost 11 years ago and one of the powers you could get was super speed. I feel like they represented the power well in that game. I think they could fine tune that power making the running look a bit smoother and implement it into a flash game

The selling point for me was when you compared the running to Web swinging in Spider-Man & how it's therapeutica. I know it's a fan made project, but it shows that they really care about the franchise. 😁

In order for this game to be a game it needs to have balanced stats and stamina meters and limitors on certain moves as well as some competent enemies to fight against other than just speedsters cause they need to hit back at some point or else the health would be pointless. One easy trick to add would be time travel to just reverse the scene if its a short time. Other maps can be other earths that you visit once in the speedforce with new maps. AI enemies definitely need guns cause beating them up is easy but dodging the bullets would make combat more fun and not just smashing attacks

The worst part is making a flash game say 10 years ago wouldn't of been possible but nowadays with have mid range computers and current gen consoles that could easily run this sort of game. Literally just need a way to load/unload textures really fast in a open world (maybe even semi open world?) for the locomotion. The hardest bit would be toggling slow motion perspective whilst actually running quite fast but that's been proven to be possible. Infact you could achieve a better example using tessellation and culling data to unload the textures furthest from you while in super speed but instantly load it all back with the power of modern day SSD's, CPU and GPU's. As for combat, literally just Arkham's combat but better. With the puzzle design of current spider-man games. It wouldn't be easy but it's VERY possible.

1. When you do the Lightning throw skill you can add a target crosshair as you are charging so as to target where to throw it. 2. You can Also add a 90 degrees turn function just because the city map is designed in grid formation. this can help make it a fun experience running around. 3. Also the walking animation should be changed... it looks kinda funny to me. All in all its looking Great.

I think it'll need AI or a function for when he's running at any fast speed to have an anti-collider or anti-collisions to object/terrain/structures/people that he automatically either moves left or right or auto dodges them to not stop the feeling of running fast just like the function they made on the new spiderman game where the main problem was its webswinging and webshooting, they wanted it to make "sense" and by giving it an automatic function of always aiming for buildings or stuff above him or that allows him to make a swing kinda effect but for flash? I think idk..

I feel like for the turning instead of the slow down to turn they should do something like the spiderman ps4 games where you use the webzip for extra movement but instead of webzipping it'll do a super slowdown then you click left or right and you'll turn in it like a mini cutscene where you decelerate then re-accelerate and cause a soundwave and just keep going at the same speed or a little faster cause i keep hitting the walls when tryna turn

I don't wanna sound mean (and i don't say I can do it better), but nothing in this looks particularly great to me.. The lightning effect behind him looks kinda cool I guess, but apart from that it's pretty basic. Most people get so easily excited for stuff just bc graphics are good, when in reality graphics are something that's good by default nowadays ( #unrealengine ) - but that alone doesn't make a good game. That's also the reason why a lot of people still pre-order games blindly, just to then be disappointed. ps: Have you guys played Saints Row 4 btw? It has exactly this, superspeed running + gliding + wallrunning + upgrade systems. When maxed out (which is quite easy to achieve), you literally are faster than taking any sportscar to get from point A to point B, so you're running, jumping and flying like crazy all across the city. Super fun!
