I've owned this grill for 3 years. I've used it off and on for a total of 5 or 6 weeks, and only on camping trips. Since it was so horrendous to clean it's been primarily used to cook hot dogs and vegetables, and I've used charcoal to cook meats that left a lot of drippings. It looks to be in near new condition but it has quit working due to a faulty regulator. Weber does not want to cover this item past a 2 year warranty even though there is warranty remaining on other parts of the grill, and that this is an item that is known to be a problem with them. I purchased 4 Weber grills over a 2 year period and all of them have had issues. Three of the grills had issues right out of the box. I just completed a second warranty claim on my Weber Genesis II because the warming rack has rotted out, and I will be making a second claim on my Weber Performer because the metal table is covered in rust after only 1.5 years. A friend of mine has purchased 2 Napoleon grills last year and zero issues. I recommend a different manufacturer.

I watched your video where you froze while converting this grill to an RV connection. Much respect for that. I found your video because my regulator recently stopped working. I’ve learned a lot from that video. I am trying to find the adapter size you used. But instead of connecting the traveler to an RV, I want to connect it to a 20lb Tank using a regulated hose. I believe the standard size hose uses a 3/8 fitting. If it’s not too much to ask, do you know which size adapter I am supposed to buy? Weber has admitted that the integrated regulator on the traveler was not designed to withstand the psi of a 20lb tank for long term. A regulated hose is a better choice. If you get a chance to read this, thank you sir.

Hello my friend, so this product does not bypass the regulator but this is what I used prior to my conversion. amzn.to/3zn9uQt Let me know if this is what you're looking for

@@theneighborskitchen I’m horrible at describing stuff. The plan is to remove the factory regulator, and hook up a hose that has its own regulator. But now that I payed close attention, it looks like all I need is the fittings that you listed on this video. Thank you
