yeah, Just watched some leaked bo6 gameplay here - /watch?v=dntss6SkN8E and bro this map looks NOTHING like a typical Treyarch map. Treyarch never made maps like this one with 850 appartments which looks like an ant farm or a maze. This is a typical IW or SH map, which plays like clusterf*. One thing with 3arc was consistent in that their maps had good flow and layout, they didnt have that maze layout. Now it seems like sadly it is a thing of past with consistently good or solid maps. Now they make the same abysmal ant farm maps, that introduce more randomness and clusterf* and have no flow to them.

Removing SBMM isn’t the answer. It needs a MAJOR overhaul to work as it should. It needs to be toned down and not as drastic. XDefiant is just as sweaty with zero SBMM. CoDs issue is you either play against bots or the top 10% ultra sweats and hackers. There is no in between. We need that in between.

Honestly, even without SBMM, Call of Duty is still in a terrible state. After Activision has gotten more greed than ever, and the fact that the unlock system in the more recent games since MW2019 are more of a grind than their previous games, and all the bugs and glitches are still there and the fact that the developers didn’t fix their freaking game, yeah Call of Duty has becoming the cash grab rather than a game. Campaign and zombies will probably be good. Multiplayer will be a disappointment. It has doors, tac sprint, dull color palette from the leaks, etc so forget about it having the traditional Treyarch feel. And the casuals will hate this game. Honestly I don't even notice SBMM anymore. What I do notice is the team balancing. SBMM says everyone in the lobby should be around the same skill level but my team mates are always far worse then I am and I end up having to hard carry every game or my team loses.

@mrdark601 it’s very strange. Example I played 4 cod games to test this out recently. 10 games of domination here is how I went. MW19: 9-3 did very well, was top 1-3 of leader board every game. 1.4 KD Coldwar :6-4 did very well every game. Average 1-2 top. 1.6 KD MW22 : 8-2 - I was number 1 almost every game. High kd. 1.8 MW23: 0-10 I was top of my leader board half the time but mostly got trashed averaging only 1.0 KD or less. I did earn alot of kills though. Very strange cod. I’m not kidding lol this game is very off.

Being on the MW19 engine is the biggest turn off, it's ruining Cod having every game be essentially a respawn 6v6 mode for Warzone. If they changed the mechanics then i wouldn't care about the engine, but the fact they keep tac sprint, keep slide cancels, the same animations for everything, keep the gunsmith, field upgrades the same garbage features as every other Cod since 2019, yeah it's gonna be shit. The only difference with Bo6 is omnimovement and a Cold War graphics pack, that's it, everything else is identical to the past 4 or 5 games. Trash.

Activsion forced treyarch to implement a new engine and BR less than a year before bo4 release. Activsion forced treyarch to turn a giant pile of steaming crap that sledgehammer made into Cold War and they had to do it during Covid lockdowns. On top of this, Cold War got good reception. Yeah man Tac Sprint and Doors have no place in a Treyarch COD. Just watched some leaked bo6 gameplay here - /watch?v=dntss6SkN8E and bro this map looks NOTHING like a typical Treyarch map. Treyarch never made maps like this one with 850 appartments which looks like an ant farm or a maze. This is a typical IW or SH map, which plays like clusterf*. One thing with 3arc was consistent in that their maps had good flow and layout, they didnt have that maze layout. Now it seems like sadly it is a thing of past with consistently good or solid maps. Now they make the same abysmal ant farm maps, that introduce more randomness and clusterf* and have no flow to them.

​​@@elg7365 and to show you that more is not good in the case of cod, the older games are loved, not because they have good movement mechanics, hell, some of them feel clunky at times (the classic mw2 is an example, your character moves at a slow pace, and feels like a real guy), but because they were simple and still felt unique, a thing that new CoD doesnt because of the bundles and weird art style decisions in recent cods (mwiii is a perfect example, the game started more like a "remaster" of the og mw2 with "better" aka more advanced movement (wich creates another problem -the older maps dont work well with the new movement, as they were not designed with it in mind), then they added weird bundles and skins, then they added zombies inspired mp maps, then they added pixelated shiii, and we get a game that doesnt know what it is trying to be...)

I've been playing cod since 2008, i know alot of people that have been playing as long as i have seen how the direction of the game has changed, most especially the last 5 years, it really is profit oriented and the passion has drifted away, i personally dont think ill ever truly enjoy another multiplayer experience from cod unless it is a remaster of one of the classics

imo the hype is kinda low for MP because of a few reasons 1. there hasnt been that much mp content revealed so far, most of it has been leaks 2. they definitely put more effort into showcasing zombies and campaign, rather than specific mp stuff im relatively confident that by the end of the coming week when the main reveals of mp come and people get to play the game that we'll get more hype building

For me, it comes to how this game only allows for internet connection and no local play. So if the servers crash, they kill the servers in the future etc, you then literally pay $70 to get access and own nothing, no? Cold War at release was unplayable with the SBMM, every match ending 75-74 with even kds. They seemingly made cod faster and the maps seem small. I’m already tired of sweats imagine the sweats in BO6. Dear god.

A lot of us are getting sick and tired of Activisions bullshit. And with channels like you, Ghost of eight, codfather and Murdashow trashing the game year after year we listen and start feeling the way you guys do. But I do my own thing and buy the game early anyway and enjoy the game for what it is. At the end of the day, it's just money spent like it or not. I'd rather waste my money on a video game then going back to drugs and alcohol. Gaming has helped me stay clean for 10 years now.

The last time I was interested in the multiplayer was BO2, but even in that game, zombies was (and still is) the most interesting and fun part of the whole COD series, and it's been that way for me ever since I played WAW in 2009. I did play campaign and multiplayer in COD1, 2, 4, WAW, MW2 2009, BO1, MW3 2011, and BO2, within a year after each release, but zombies is the main reason I'm getting BO6. I might play the campaign, too.

What are the main things that makes COD zombies the most fun/interesting game mode (besides the gameplay, story, and music)? The modding tools, and the modding community. Maybe BO6 will get mod tools, since it's on Steam and BO3 has mod tools on Steam and Steam Workshop support. WAW has mod tools, too. BO6 should get mod tools. It probably won't, but it should. The game will live longer with decent mod tools and be more fun.

As a cod player who ONLY plays TDM, I’m awaiting to see how the gameplay actually looks and feels at length. How’s traversal, for example. Not visually, I mean mechanically, is it responsive and quick? Omni movement is interesting, but the animations aren’t as important to me as responsiveness. And I hope they do a better job with traversal than mw3, where you never know whether something is vaultable until you try it. If something looks vaultable grabbable then it should be, they should design their maps around that. Enough stupid invisible walls and not being able to vault onto something or up to a wall that I should absolutely be able to.

In 2011 I went to the mid night release with my friends & got MW3! Played it for a solid 36hrs then went to school 😂🤪 Super excited for BO6, beyond keen to get back into round based zombies too!!
