As a multishipper it's very nice to see ships and people's interpretations of them. So I can see how a PPG x RRB ship work with circumstances, I mean Bubbles in one of the episode is hinted to have some sort of crush with Boomer as well. Though I usually prefer platonic ships in my AUs so hence I write them as such, whether or not it leads to romance is up to readers interpretations (depending which AU it is since I have 4 AUs) Rarepairs such as PPG/RRB x Normies is such a treat as I can definitely see it happen with the girls or boys growing up over time with character development. Your Brick and Robin interactions are pretty cute and has depth into the story and interactions themselves hence why I like them ^^

Isn't that what's fun about creating a story? Everyone has different interpretations of characters and see their stories go a certain way. Maybe it's not what you envision for them, but it's a different path for that interpretation of the same character nonetheless. I happen to have a different perspective of the Boys characters than most fanfiction I read. But I still write my own version of them because that sparks me joy. I like the PPG/RRB ship because of its dysfunctional nature and I can never see a happy ending for them, even in AU's where they don't meet as enemies. But someone else could write a fluffy happy ending for them, and I'd still cheer that on. If everyone did the exact same thing, we wouldn't have the thousands of stories out there on the Internet, keeping us all entertained.

@@KaylaTechHeartBut it’s not really about gaining a new interpretation, and more about reimagining them to fit the needs of a story. The boys in the canon and the boys in the fandom are so different from each other, they’re basically different characters at that rate with the same aesthetics and gimmick. The boys in the fandom have those personalities so that they can be romantically compatible with the girls (Brick is actually competent, Boomer is sweet and lovable, and Butch is tough and rough). I find this beyond lazy since fanfic writers essentially don’t wanna do the legwork and actually take the effort and show how the girls would get to a level and find a common ground with the boys.

@@PrinceAliTheGreatest It usually depends but sometimes there are people who actually manage to write something good despite seemingly impossible at canon, Or something that can happen in canon with development, If written right it would seem plausible. Even for those that are bad at writing it will eventually improve given practice, except for those that don't because I had seen ppl draw or write things without ever bother to develop improvement and such. As someone who has multiple AUs it gives me an idea on how much development it would take and writing things that are at least somewhat close to how they would act or change if mass development happens. It gives me an idea on what to explore and eventually with time can be written better. That's why seeing AUs with clearly a try at effort into putting a story with some form of character development excites me. To me it can expands a characters depth into a personality we never get to see, more deep into it, or that if its a character with only little to no personality on what's given, it's cool to see how people handle on what those particular characters be. However yes, with given context if a creator wants to make an AU close to canon with how they are or personalities they would definately need to put in a lot of research, unless if the AU they are making changes the world view, shifts in personality etc then tweaks can be made. There are different types of AUs, so usually it depends a readers tastes and what they like to see. Some ppl might not like a big change, some ppl might like big changes, some ppl wants a more reimagine depth into a story.

@@KaylaTechHeart It’s not hard to praise cliche and typical writing, epically fan-fictions. Even my own are generically written, and I won’t understand why people would treat it like Shakespeare. Even my favorite shows like The Boys, it has writing you can find almost anywhere typically speaking. the Rowdyruff Boys already have tones of personality and some hidden nuance people like too gloss over in favor for the fandoms’ interpretation, because the canonic ones are turn off for them (sexist, misogynist, gross, vulgar, and stupid). Nobody wants to touch those personalities since again, it doesn’t make for good shipping material, and it’s actually very terrible when considering who both would act towards eachother if ever shipped. BrickxBlossom, or even the other color-coded ships would be Joker and Harley Quinn levels of abusive and toxic, with maybe for the exception of ButtercupxButch since Butch isn’t played up as a emotional hot-head like Buttercup. Anything can happen in canon with development. That’s why “character development” exists. Canon Brick can be written to be fanon Brick if they’re given a reason he’s like that.

PPG and RRB ships I think it really depends in ones AU, because they are not actually DNA related due to the fact they are lab children and born separately. The only "connection" they have pretty much is Mojo and Chemical X. Even then they can remove Chemical X in their systems. However, the relationship can be anything depending how ppl write it as such. Just as long they do not imply incest- I had a couple of AUs of PPG and RRB, one is strictly a sibling relationship, one is a platonic, and one is up for interpretation, and one remains just being rivals. (I have 4 AUs) Plus Bubbles has been hinted to have some sort of crush on Boomer by saying "oooh! ooh! I want the blonde one I think he's cute!" to which buttercup replied "man you're weird." so if any of the PPG and RRB were to be shipped it most likely bubbles and boomer in my opinion. However character development exists and anything can potentially happen just by ppl's fingers if they so desire to write it.

No, they were created in a completely different way, and they have no family ties other than what you as a fan want to give it as a technicality. Just look when they created a bunch of copies of the girls, or the powerpunk girls, they are creatures that when done well are always born with that color palette. It's not for you to like the ship, I just wanted to explain that no, there is nothing familiar there. And if you really want to give them some family ties, I think cousins would be the closest thing you could give them.

I remember seeing one of your DexBloss short videos on Instagram, and immediately I was interested because of the lovely art and of course having both Dexter and Blossom together! Blossom is my favourite character from PPG and I love Dexter’s Laboratory, I used to watch both shows a lot when I was a kid! They are a ship that I never truly considered since they’re from different shows, but now I ship them so much because of you, so thank you!! This is also the same for RoBrick, I remember being really happy seeing someone drawing Robin since no one remembers her like you said, and I think Robin and Brick are like…made for each other! The way Robin can break down Brick’s emotional walls and slowly teach him the value of being kind…so good. I’m very invested in them! I’ve blabbed so much haha. Blossom and Dexter fundamentally doesn’t make sense. Like, at all. Blossom is known for being level-headed and competent of her sisters. Dexter is irrational and unreasonably incompetent with handling even small day-to-day inconveniences. Blossom has barely ever shown traits of intelligence or intellect. (There’s a difference between being smart, and being wise-which people often mistake for one another) Also, one of Dexter’s defining traits is that he’s sexist and misogynist if anyone actually watched Dexter’s laboratory. Literally, the deal breaker as it is. I’m not questioning or challenging your preferences in shipping, just the consensus of why they’re shipped, when in close inspection, they’re highly incompatible as a romantic relationship.

I’ve said this before; You’re welcome to ship any couple you want. That doesn’t mean I can’t question the reasoning behind shipping it. This is less about not liking the couple and more about trying to understand it.

@@PrinceAliTheGreatest Well, that's fair enough I suppose. I would contend the "surface level" comment though, I'd say Dexter and Blossom have a lot going for them in terms of romantic capability. They're both heroic geniuses - Blossom being more the hero, and Dexter being more the genius, so it balances out. They both want to make the world a better place and have a history of fighting villains to save their city and loved ones. It also makes total sense for Blossom to fall for a scientist because 1.) her father Professor Utonium is one, and 2.) she is a very intelligent, education oriented person. On Dexter's side, it makes sense for him to fall for a science experiment. This is pretty self explanatory and I don't think I need to go into greater detail lol. While their egos would no doubt clash, resulting in some hilarious moments as they'd save the world together, I think as they mature with age there'd be greater room for a romantic relationship. Blossom especially would be impressed with Dexter's ultimate goal to share his intelligence with the world via the Protocore and create universal peace and brotherhood, as we saw in Ego Trip. They could also bond over other nerdy interests, like their fondness of Major Glory. Really, I could go on all day about this haha. You're free to disagree, but if you honestly want to understand why people are into this ship, those are just a few reasons.

I've never seen powerpuff girls, but I always found the designs cute! And what you managed to do with characters that only appear for like one episode is amazing 🥺 The ships are super cute, though I'm not familiar with the franchises, I love what you're doing with them.
