It is not the song, it is Christ that saves. The song is only a tool used in your Christian journey to get your attention on a much needed relationship with our Lord and Savior... a need for total surrender and obedience. Now, thank the Lord for him giving you a new song to sing. You've decreed by saying "I WILL" be obedient Father as all your creations do. This was hard for me as I walked my own way in unrighteousness. The songs remind me of my past where now I know I wasn't alone, he saw the things I did, said and thought. Yet, he still loves me and desires my heart. The LORD, our Father in heaven, is so merciful and full of grace to give for all who will decree "So Will I" willingly. And as you speak, 100 billion failures disappear... I messed up my life so badly. Meth, vodka, cocaine, gay, sex addict, HIV. 2 decades lost and I lost everything. At my lowest, I asked him 'If you are real, if you love me, please help me because I can't do anything to change myself.' And he did. Quietly and with no pressure, he took away my addictions. He is healing my mind and hurts. That was 6 years ago and I haven't had any desire for booze or drugs. He just took the addictions away. He's the one who never leaves the one behind. I love him so much. I am crying because I am so thankful to him for saving my life by losing his. He is so beautiful. He is my best friend.

I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where KZbin started and this song played. I was an atheist for years and hated god. My life was spiraling out of control with drug addiction and i only relied on my will. Once i surrendered and got sober i needed someone or something to take over. That someone was jesus. I accepted him into my life and i can tell you for a fact that i have felt jesus working in my life. I can feel his love and grace and mercy whenever i worship. When im struggling i rely on him to take my hand and lead me out of the darkness. Hes proved his existence to me more than once. Ive never seen jesus or heard him but i can feel him everyday. It starts with establishing how big God is as it talks about creating galaxies, then narrows it down to elements of the earth, then to the cross, then to the 8 billion on earth, and finally to that He is the "One who never leaves the one behind".
