Auf ihrer aktuellen «Music of the Spheres»-Tour wollen Coldplay trotz riesiger Stadionshows so nachhaltig wie möglich sein. Konkret will die englische Mega-Band gegenüber ihrer letzten grossen Tournee 2016/17 ganze 50 Prozent der CO2-Emissionen einsparen. Aktuell seien sie bei 47 Prozent.

Wie sie das erreichen wollen und ob sie dann grün genug sind, verrät Frontmann Chris Martin im Interview mit SRF 3. Der 46-Jährige spricht zudem darüber, was er in den rund 25 Jahren seit Bandgründung gelernt hat und sagt, was er von Leuten hält, die nur ihre ersten Alben mögen.

Good answer to the „Hardcore Fan“ question. I would have stick to questions like this, asking what they think about people having their cellphone at the show, playing the quiet songs at a concert etc. It has become a happening not a concert for me. A tour with an album like Everyday Life could never happen because of the way to big audience. 😕
