I was standing trackside at the New Hampshire xfinity race. And the track drying was ear shattering the race was fun. I went in a mclaren d1 sweatshirt and had to buy a nascar hat to blend in lol

Oh, you are so right about the ear protection. I just went to the Brickyard a few weeks ago for the first time in over a decade. I had a scanner and a mono earbud, no earmuffs, seated on the exit of turn four... Yeah, the next gen is definitely louder than I remembered from the gen 4 & 5 cars. It was awesome, but took two days for the ringing to stop 😂

Good video. I would encourage people to get the Nascar Track app to see the schedule of events at the track they are going to. I took my kid to a driver interview and he can't believe he got an autograph and to be there that close to his favorite driver.

If you are going to pocono, I would recommend sitting near the start/finish line, but also more high up. Also leave EXTREMELY EARLY. Pocono is around 2 hrs away from my house and the race started about 2:30. I left about 8:30-9:00 and there was barely any traffic. Unfortunately when I got there it started pouring and some people are saying there was apparently a tornado somewhere?? But I got in and it was fun. Also for pocono, BRING lots of sunscreen. Also, I put some water bottles in the freezer the night before and took it out when before went because then it was so cold and stayed like that.

I've been going to Dover, and their are a few pieces of advice I'd offer is think about where you park, and your exit strategy. Parking further away isn't bad, but you have to walk, and with dover, we walk over the bridge and to the stands. Use the elevator if you can. Also, arrive earlier so you can check out the outside booths. Might see a driver or two there.

I totally agree with the scanner. The Darlington track wifi is great. My phone was running 4/5 bars during the cup throwback race this year. Bristol track wifi on the other hand...

I have a couple track specific tips. I've gone to Dover for a decade, and my favorite section is the one closest to the start/finish line. I like the rows in the middle because you have a decent view and you're close to the elements. Truex probably took 5 years off my lungs in 2023 but it was cool as hell💀. And if you want food, the most valuable thing is the chicken tender with fries basket for $9. For Pocono, section 208 is a sweet spot. Not only do you get a great view of turn 1, but you don't have to break your neck to see the TV. The higher you are the better. If you're hungry, then too bad because the same chicken tender and fries basket is $16 and everything else is outrageous.

Another tip, turn your phones WiFi off at the track. There are so many WiFi networks and signals that your phone loses battery quickly.

I haven't watched the video yet but man, I went to pocono for my first race and it was a blast. I got there at 8am tho so I didn't know about the traffic till we were leaving lol

I was at this years loudon race camping in s7. The tailgating can def get, much. I personally remember maybe an hour or 2 from that whole weekend i was so sloshed.

The behind the ear headsets are awesome if you have an inconsistent head shape like me. Over ear headsets get painful quickly because they put all their pressure on one spot of my head but behind the head headsets dont do that.

Poconos DO NOT BOOK A RESORT HOTEL bc they got extension homes and I did not a room key. Stick to traditional hotels and see if you can get taxi in case Lyft and Uber are busy.
