The lbs vs cfm- part has a couple things I might add on... you can calculate approximately the hp your engine is capable of NA from cfm. 1 cfm @ 28" WC = about 0.27 hp in one cylinder. Then multiply the airflow of your head(s) by number of cylinders and multiply by atmospheres of boost... nets you a potential.

I been thinking abaut slapping on a second turbo as a compaund setup on top on a stock vnt turboon a 2.2l diesel engin the fuel system is common rair and manual, my atendion is to put a arduino to bigi bag the singnal from the stock boost sensor wit a sensor between the turbos so I don't over spin the stock turbo, so the ecu think it's not making the boost it actually does when the big turbo comes oon. The engine makes stock abaut 150 hp @3800 rpm. And 330nm @1800 4 cylinder with 4 walve per cylinder. The stock turbo makes abaut 1.2 bars of boost @2000 rpm and fades down to abaut 1 bar @ 4000rpm I'm thinking to max out the stock fuel system, it's maybe about 250 hp and want a nice street driving car. The turbos I'm thinking about slapping oon a Chinese copy of gt 25 or gt 30 Im think maybe biger to not chuck the stock turbo on spuul up and make good power when the stock has spooled but because the gt 25 has a wg it might be easier to control boost Im most likely fuel limited in either case, so I'm more concerned to not over boost if I have the gt 30 and don't have an extra wg to controll it. This car is also a 2004 wan, its rusti as fuck and its always a question if it's worth to work on to get it true an other inspection to be road legal for one more year. If it breaks I'm not loosing a huge investment, so it would be just to play around and have fun with an old car. But then again would you be kind and talk me out of spend needles money and time on this old shit 😆

I haven't 100% made up my mind just yet. I have time. With the BTR cam I am running. Low to mid 400s to the wheel is way more than I need. It is going to be so much fun.

@SouthernSpeedVideos Now days computers keep people from wiping themselves out. Traction controls and watchdog sensors to keep people from losing control. At 40 mph I've seen Vettes blow the tires off with 600 horse. So a thousand horse either has Traction control or a tubbed rear end. Or it's tuned down low as to not give full power so it will grip. Either way it's basically a race car now that is drivin on the streets.
