Great vid! This is EXACTLY the kind of thing I'd love to present to save time with a GM pitch. The suggestions were particularly nice and spoiler-free, but still covered a lot of those "wink wink nudge nudge this would be really neat"-type conversations that can be tricky to have as a GM.

Really good video! I also do love your lore videos but this is also really helpful for players and gms alike. I would really appreciate more videos like this. Have been playing 1st edition with my group and we're (very) slowly trying to get into 2nd edition. And while I would also love to have some 1st edition videos too, please continue to do these 2nd edition ones ♥

First video of yours I've watched, but I really liked this format. Putting adventure background into a deeper context and tying it into player choices gives a great overview of the adventure and works for both prospective GMs and players.

This video was cool. Thanks for making it. I love fantasy dwarfs and pathfinder has some of the coolest dwarf lore. Also I hope tu run Sky Kings Tomb someday with my group. And I just want to thank you for all your videos. They helped me learn more about the setting and to better tie in my players backstories (especially the cleric and champions) to the setting and existing faiths.

@@Podfinder happy to hear! if I can offer some feedback, I feel some of the starting information might be too close to spoilers for some groups. mentioning how book one ends, and showing the covers of all books, art and titles? I suppose most won't care for that but it's something to keep in mind. the extra lore to assist with character concepts is fantastic.

I'm trying to find the fine line of providing enough information to players so they can make informed decisions without spoiling major events. Feedback like this will help me fine-tune that balance.

40,000 Population is incredibly small. I'm in a city on the east coasr with twice that. I wonder if they use this for limited technologies in fantasy.

When I say it's a large city, I'm saying it's large in the context of Golarion. The largest city in all of the Inner Sea region is Absalom, which has a population of 300,000, which is about half-again as big as Paris in the fourteenth century. Absalom is thought of as the NYC of the Pathfinder setting, so that should give you the idea of the relative population scale we're dealing with.
