Get yourself a solder pot for your tinning. We make similar assemblies at work, saved us a fortune in time. Pretty cheap at CPC. Then, fancy coming to Holmfirth and building us some looms! 😄

All for one antenna, its a true multi bander...tuned for EVERY frequency in the spectrum, radiator is only 42 foot, but it's 9klm around the base. And 90 miles of coax back to the shack....

There really isn't a better way to mass produce a part like this. Well done Mike. But I have a question: I don't understand why these come prebuilt in the kit? The kit builder could make it themselves? (I didn't even use mine as I had a 15m length of RG213 for my feed already made up with N plugs so I fitted an N socket to my Signature 9. Probably the only one anywhere with an N socket!)

PS - Historically, we have soldered these up so that the customer only needs to cut wires and crimp. Some folks worry about soldering.

Mike gave me all the timings.. But I forget now. It's fast because he breaks it down into batches (or processes). Certainly faster than we do it at the factory because we have a ton of distractions going on.

Because I do not keep them, it also stops people from doing the development for themselves and if you do not do it for yourself you cannot learn. BTW they are all on thingverse
