it's 2021, and I have to access an old webservice, and this is by far the best introduction Video I could have imagined for WSDL!!! Big thank you to you :)

I'm sure you could be a teacher for this stuff at any college or university (if you aren't already). Your way of explaining in small-but-just-appropriate steps is simply great.

WSDL is essentially a Java interface converted to XML format. Thanks for that. Very helpful.
@thegamerz5034 Жыл бұрын
Not necesarilly Java. Javax is a Java API that can create these web xml services with the help of a server like Tomcat. WSDL is the representation/interface of which elements the xml service possess.

Hi Koushik, I excluded all methods this time except for the one with two input parameters (addProduct) but I could not follow how the WSDL informs us about these two parameters in the operation. The WSDL did update to reflect the operation named addProduct though.

One thing that I wanted to clear but I simply could not find out the right solution so far. My question is, how we can display 2 different outputs in the message element depends on the situation that I am calling the operation? Is there any possibility to make it happen?

Hi, Nice explanation, I have a doubt. In types section of wsdl, there are three ways to define data types 1. Direct define elements and complex types in wsdl 2. Define elements and complex type in another XSD say "CalculatorDomain" and include them in wsdl via [xsd:include] 3. xsd:import Can you please shed some light on xsd:import because schema location is specifying xsd=1 whereas for xsd:include, we directly give name of xsd. M new to xsd:import. Thanks.

Hello Koushik. Thanks for your tutorial it is really helpful. I have one question about SEI as you said in the second lesson SEI is a class which transforms programming data into SOAP messages. So my question is which class generated by wsimport is SEI? or all classes generated by wsimport are SEI?
