I love Mitch! He plays such a down right evil villian. Hes the best wow I cant believe this was in 2002 thats insane I felt like I just watched this like a few yrs ago but not in 2002 time sure flies by fast.

And yet at the very end the truth came out. Alison Perkins switched the DNA results. Clint was always Jessica’s biological father. And when Alison told Mitch the truth that Jessica wasn’t his, the look on his face was priceless. 😂

Boy I couldn't agree with you more. As evil as Mitch is, I just can't stop watching Roscoe Born play him because he is so damn good at it. His face, mannerisms, voice: they are the work of a master at his craft.

I was talking about the scenes that I have... BW took over Jess on Feb 5 '03 and the first real conversation Jess & Mitch had was mid April after I'd stopped editing regularly... sure there was the scene when Jess saved Mitch from Todd but that's already on yt...

Natalie was 1st & Clint took her to be shown to the Buchs. They named Natalie "Jessica". Jessica was taken by Mitch right after birth. Viki's OBGYN was one of Mitch's followers & in on the kidnap & later on the switch. Allison kidnapped the baby from Llanfair (Natalie who was being called Jessica) she then brought "Jessica" (the twin who was kidnapped at the hospital) to Llanfair & left "Natalie" (the orig. Jess) w/the Balsoms. That's a hole in the SL & something Viki could never understand.

Who knows what Jess' real name would be if Viki and Clint had known there were twins... but the way they rewrote history gave Natalie the name Jessica originally and Jessica was then passed off as the twin taken from Llanfair even though she was the twin taken from the hospital.

Mitch Laurence had Allison kidnap Natalie from Llanfair & gave her to Dr. Walter Balsom (a follower of his & Viki's OB) & his wife Roxanne because he knew Roxy would be a horrible mother & Natalie would have a terrible life (Mitch later had Walter killed when Rex was really young). Mitch had Allison take Jessica to the Buchanans so that his daughter had everything & Clint's daughter had nothing (hence giving her to Roxy). Mitch was the mastermind behind the kidnappings and switching the babies.

I never liked that they made Jessica Mitch's daughter... I did like that tptb used a part of oltl's history to write an sl and the fact that they got so many of the original players was icing on the cake. I still don't understand why Jessica is still thought to be Mitch's though...I think that's been played for as much as it's going to get (what with Mitch dead) and don't understand why it hasn't been reversed since Mitch died years ago...

Yeah, Dorian killed Mitch back in the day but then it was decided to rewrite history... The writers revised things by saying that Dorian didn't actually kill Mitch and that Mitch was hiding out pretending that he was dead with Victor Lord... (I've already uploaded Mitch's first scene back.) When Mitch returned he used the name Michael Lazarus and got Natalie to marry him... Then revealed himself to Viki and told her about Jess' paternity.

Viki has/had several other personalities due to her D.I.D. One of them was Niki (Viki was Niki when she gave birth to Megan). Viki also had other personalities most notably Tori, Tommy, Jean Randolf. However, tiic said Viki was not another personality when she gave birth to Nat or Jess. Viki blocked out the memories of the rape & Jessica's birth because of trauma (Jess was born 2nd & taken by Mitch right after birth) she was then switched with Nat (who was known as Jessica) a few weeks later.

Viki owns it. It's the Lord carriage house. Many people have lived there over the years... with Rex and Gigi being its most recent inhabitants.

Yeah that was a really wild idea to make Mitch the real father of Jessica! Of all people you know? But I really did like the storyline, up until they went overboard like One Life To Live usually does with perfectly good stories/characters.

Jessica was so innocent during this time period. She legit tried to find the good in everyone even if they did not deserve it. I believe this was the beginning Jessica's descent into DID. All these events led up to the remembrance of the trauma she dealt with.

He's assumed to be Rex's father, but it's not for sure. We're 100% positive that he is Rex's father. Mitch was evil; I'd even say that he's the most evil of the ABC of those whom I can recall.

I hateI stopped watching by this time, but why did they SORAS Jessica from a baby to preteen. They could have let her age in real time. She was born in '86, a year before Al Holden and her cousin C.J. If the writers had just been patient, they could have all been natural teen agers at this time. ZERO reaso. To artifically advance characters' ages.
