Thank you so much :'D Being a total noob, one thing I struggled with at first was that running requests didn't go as expected, I didn't get see the same XML outputs you had, however, I realized after a while that I was in the Raw tab the whole time (facepalm) Apparently the version I'm using (SoapUI 5.7.2) displays Raw by default so you'll have to click on the XML tab every time you send a request... I haven't found a way to set XML as default yet, so maybe reinstalling for another stable version like 5.7.1 might be the way. Again, thank you so much for doing these tutorials!

Hi Govind, 1. What is the difference between Soap UI tool and Postman tool ? Both are tools/platforms for API Testing, There differ in features, gui, etc but can be used for both manual and automation testing of APIs. SoapUI has some more features of security and load testing as well 2.In Postman - automation testing means only the Datadriven tests(of webservices) or any other things we can automate ? Hi Rajan, so looks like you do not have a wsdl url but a document or file. So instead of providing the url in the Initial WSDL filed, you can use the browser button to locate and add the file. Check this - www.soapui.org/soap-and-wsdl/working-with-wsdls/

Hi Shantanu, WSDL is the Web Services Description Language. It is commonly used to spell out in detail the services offered by a SOAP server. While WSDL is flexible in service binding options (for example, services can be offered via SMTP mail servers), it did not originally support HTTP operations other than GET and POST. Since REST services often use other HTTP verbs, such as PUT and DELETE, WSDL was a poor choice for documenting REST services.WADL is the Web Application Description Language. WADL is championed by Sun Microsystems. Like the rest of REST, WADL is lightweight, easier to understand and easier to write than WSDL. By disabling proxy settings to none it worked fine. Is there any other option to resolve above issue?

Hi, java.lang.Exception: Failed to load url; getting this error on loading any WSDL file. I checked the vmoptions file. Updated with SSL. Proxy setting to none and manual. nothing worked. Could you please help to solve this?

Hi Chaitanya, Is this coming with all wsdl files? Also with the one used in video? Are you using proxy to connect to internet. Also try with some diff ver.

Hi Amrita, pls check your WSDL, is it working and correct. Also check if you are using any proxy to connect to internet. If yes, you can do settings in SoapUI as shown here www.soapui.org/docs/preferences-and-settings/
