In this video I review Soarchain's MOTUS mini cryptocurrency miner. This is a drive-to-earn crypto miner. Other drive-to-earn miners such as DIMO and Hivemapper have been on fire recently, so this new project/miner should not be overlooked. Can somebody help me please? I have the motus mini, I make a wallet, then my app didn't anymore so I delete the app and download it again, everything is oke right now but.. I have my 24 words so I will import my account, but that's the problem!.. there standing after my 24 words: wallet import encountered an error. Really good job with this video. I used your code on this one. I was on the edge about buying this. I hope the technical problems get resolved. I don’t really like the idea of using my mobile hotspot as a tether as that cost additional money. I also saw another KZbinr mention that you can have 3 devices on one obd. He later clarified in a comment that only one company per OBD port. Meaning DIMO and this product not multiple dimos or motus on the obd port.

I similarly was frustrated at a certain KZbinr for suggesting you can run two dimo devices in addition to this one, I'd still recommend the three-way splitter for a macaron and a dimo so that you have another spare available for your local auto shop to be able to connect without unplugging them.

I have never had any issues unplugging my DIMO and plugging it back in. But also may be a good to leave space for the next drive-to-earn project that comes along lol

Swan, when you disconnected the DIMO to use the cable splitter and then reconnected the DIMO device, did you have to re-setup the DIMO device or did it just keep working as it always had? Did you have to do anything with the DIMO App after disconnecting and reconnecting. I am thinking of ordering the cable splitter and Motus Mini to try it but I do not want to screw up my DIMO device as that has been gold!! Thoughts?

You shouldn't have any issues if you unplug your DIMO and plug it back in later. I have unplugged mine so many times trying to get soarchain installed and never had an issue with my DIMO

I haven't had the best experience with this obviously with not being able to get it setup, but sounds like most people haven't had the issues I have had. Keeping the app open does sound like a huge pain. Whether people want to buy it or not, that's up to them. I don't want to be overly critical or negative either. Which I have been accused of on this channel in the past. But I"m not going to sit here and give a fluffy sales pitch either, like some dyed blond haired people may do 😂

Interesting concept for a project, but I think people using their phones to record will end to some very inconsistent mapping data, which will make it difficult to monetize their map or sell it to potential customers. I don’t see them being a legitimate competitor to Hivemapper. But we shall see

Motus mini has to be connected through the app every time unlike the macaron. Other then that I’m making twice as much (in tokens) as I was with the macaron upon start up. Still confused as to total amount of tokens allocated but figure it will probably be 1 billion or less. My poor car. Got the auto pi, macaron and mini all hooked up. Hive mapping , map matric( spt miner).. then there’s the phone apps. Natix, Wallace wallet, coin app. The list goes on. Not talking trash but this is the best time to be in crypto since I’ve been involved (2014). Finally real,world usages. Weather mappers, internet, mapping, crowd control. I’ll just shut up.

Does using an OBD2 Port Splitter increase the risk of the OBD2 Port getting fried from having too many devices connected to it?

You’re always thinking about the “what if?” Smart! I have heard of people complaining about Dimo draining their car batteries in the past, but not sure how common that really is. I wouldn’t think the splitter should have much impact, both devices use minimal power. But I guess that’s always a risk

From what I can tell and see from the app, it wouldn't as you need the driver to open the app and connect to the device every time. The issue i see with this setup is that i don't want to share my account on the app with 150 drivers. Is there any way around this?

Hey man, aside from great info in your videos I was a left with a little sour taste in the mouth for you talking badly about another fellow youtuber. I spoke with Oakley Dookley and said he was corrected on this issue and will address it in the next video. I think it is a poor decision to talk badly of others as you are all doing the same thing: pushing projects that you a) believe in and b) invested in and earn off referral codes in your videos. People CAN be mistaken on facts - which he has been a number of times, but it is likely due to misinformation he got from others not in an attempt to deceive others.
