Soaring over Barolo ･ The masterpiece among wine areas 🇮🇹

Following the steps of my friend and wine expert, Ruediger, we explored, for the second time, area of Barolo region in Piedmont, Italy. With visits of vineyards, wineries, and tasting all local delicatessen, extended weekend in this beautiful region became our tradition.
With my wonderful friends, Luboš and Martin, we've explored this time more area of Montforte d'Alba and nearby Barbaresco region. And we had to return to our favorite place, Serralunga d'Alba.

Thanks a lot, Ted! ✨ I was introduced to the area by my friend, who really fallen in love with Barolo region and goes there several times a year. Aside of a fairytale landscape, with castles, towers, and small villages on the top of the hills, they have amazing food and wonderful people. It's an ultimate combo ✨ We were little bit unlucky with the weather this time, but fortunately one evening and one morning, the overcast broke and I was able to capture at least few shots... I was traveling a lot in the recent weeks (in the UK, now in Italy), so I have a backlog in video making and video watching as well 😀

Díky moc! ✨👍🏻 Udělali jsme si z Barola naše malé poutní místo, kde bychom se chtěli každoročně na prodloužený víkend potkat a toulat se po vinicích... Je to krásný kraj, a k tomu to úžasné víno a dobroty 🍷😀

Liked #20, Excellent short film of Baroko Italy Jaroslav! Looks like we were nearby. I was in Genova and Cinque Terre in June. Though...Barolo is not Tuscany but it does have that feeling with the fortified hilltop siena colored buildings! Italians even make the wine farm look like an arena (well, at least from the sky, it does 😊).

Thanks a lot, my friend! ✨ Oh, you were in Cinque Terre! 🤩 I like that area a lot, we were there two years ago in the summer and this spring, in April, we visited Porto Venere, which is at the south (#6 city of the Cinque Terre). Barolo region we visited three times in the last 2 years, it's so beautiful, almost fairytale like region... We try to make it a tradition and visit the region in May/June as a group of friends trip - walking around wineries, tasting wine and delicious local food. We have very similar interests! ⭐️🙋🏻‍♂️😀

@JaroslavBengl You Europeans are so lucky 😊 You have all these old historical and monumental places to visit with 2 to 3 hours of plane rides! Finding people with similar interests are very challenging 😳 But, I noticed in Europe, people are easier going and enjpy simpler things, plus you guys are not high-strung like us Americans, which helps a lot. Porto Venere, I just did not have the time to go there and I started 8AM in Monterroso and stayed at the final Cinque Terre village and saw the sunset and left at 10PM from Riomaggiore (I stayed in Genova instead of La Spezia.. I trekked the Cinque Terre to get an idea for a day-trip. Next time, I will stay in one place to fully immerse. My favorites were Vernazza then Corniglia. Smaller and more charming, though Corneglia, you have to do more climbing the stairs (way less tourists go there. It was actually bigger and more places to see than expected, so many corridors in tiny narrow streets. I thought it was a tiny village when viewed from the mountians). I will have to give Barolo a try next time in Italy! Take care 😎 👍

@@BusterGotIt That's a very good point! Yes, you're right - we are super lucky with all the rich cultural heritage within a driveable distance. On other hand some of the US national parks are out of this world breathtaking and west coast is just outstandingly beautiful coast line... Some of the most beautiful places I've ever visited are in the US - Crater Lake NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP - just to name a few. We stayed for one week in Vernazza and had really great time - with few trips to other villages, but primarily in the location. Short video from Vernazza kzbin.info/www/bejne/i52VeJtoo9t4d8U Cinque Terre is a national park and officially you should not fly there without the permit... I applied for it and successfully got it one day after returning home :))) So no drone footage for me that time...

@JaroslavBengl Thank you for the information! I do have to visit Yosemite and Redwood one day. Pacific Highway 1 was fantastic by the way! Did not know C.T.was considered a National Park!!!! 😳😄🤔 You have been to some amazing places! I will also have all 5 Cinque Terre videos out when I have time. Will check out yours til then 😊
