I, too, am a Jewish believer in our Messiah Yeshua, saved 48 years ago. The Lord moved me from NYC to the central coast of California where a Gentile believer shared the gospel with me, and he became my husband after I got saved. We served as volunteers with Jews for Jesus for a few years in the early 80s and attended some of the Ingatherings JFJ had in northern Calif. What a blessing this organization has been to me and to the world. PTL.

Wow!!! Thank you for your beautiful testimony! I also grew up Jewish and I also love our Messiah who came to free us from the bondage of sin. I am an American Gentile but my story is kind of crazy I was raised in a southern Baptist family Grew up in church attended church most of my adult life But my entire walk With Jesus for 36 years I had him still hanging on the cross I was bitter I would get sad and angry at Christmas time And it was not until a couple of years ago when I got into biblical archeology and eschatology That God finally answered a lifelong prayer for wisdom and knowledge he taught me about Jewish history culture And Israel❤ once I got a Messianic Bible teacher who could actually teach me context with scripture did Jesus come down off that cross and become very real to me. Jesus is Jewish🎉 Jesus is Alive🎉❤❤❤

I went to Valley Baptist Church in San Rafael from 1965 - 72 and summers between college at Biola University 72-77. I remember going by the missionaries pictures that our church supported : Sue Perlman was one of those pictures. Valley Baptist Church was one of the first churches to support Jews For Jesus in California . Latter in the 90's the Pastor became a Pastor to the Jews For Jesus staff in Northern California. I have also found out that i may have some Jewish DNA though a DNA test.

I am a Filipino Christian and I am so happy many people are coming and believing Jesus our Lord. Our Lord Jesus will always make ways for you to come or return to Him. I once left to serve Him to seek success, believing my self, until such time I lost my faith. However, he made ways for me to return. But I was stubborn. He allowed me to live overseas so that I have no one for me to rely on, but only Him. He gave me sufferings to humble myself and I am so grateful right now because He made my faith burning again, almost 2 years now. More blessings come after returning to Our Lord Jesus. Susan: God has obv. been drawing you to Himself from your youth. He is a Father to the Fatherless - Psalm 68:5-6. Your testimony about meeting the folk singer Larry is most certainly a divine encounter... it sounds like your path crossed one of the legendary pioneering fathers of Christian Rock music, Larry Norman. Some have labeled him the Pied Piper of the Jesus Movement. He has recorded a couple of my fav songs titled: "I Wish We'd All Been Ready" and "Why Don't You Look Into Jesus?" and there's "Why Should The Devil Have All the Good Music". Amazing how the enemy put the old boyfriend up to phoning you, to subvert you from hearing the Gospel.... but God had designed a plan for you & Larry to meet up all along. Halleluyah! Every religious Jew knows there is another world. She was completely secular and asked a reform Rabbi who doesn't believe anything himself. If she grew up knowledgeable and religious, she would never fall for this. No orthodox Jew would be tricked into believing any of this and ask any missionary how many orthodox people they convince and you'll here the word "zero" very clearly.

Susan, You wrote me back years ago on a postcard from Jews for Jesus....❤. And I may still have it.....being the keeper of many things😊. Can't remember what you said to me, but I remember it warming my heart that a Jewish lady had given her life to Jesus and that she took the time to write me a note. In 1976 the Lord became my Savior and saved me from my sin sick soul but He also healed me of 19 years of migraines instantly....thought my family might be Jewish because my and my twin brothers (60 year old grandmother, ---- ) when we were born was a tailor/and seamstress...one day when I was about 3 years old she let me go thru fabric on the floor in a "remnant" box while she sewed. Very uninteresting because it was all remnant cloth from men's suit and topcoat material...BUT AT THE BOTTOM, THERE WAS something very, very special....a satin, highly decorated envelope with separations in the middle, and it had fancy gold braiding around the outside....and my grandmother was Czechoslovakian...could be part of the Diaspora???? Anyway, years later after marriage, three children, etc. Jews for Jesus came to our "then" church in Atascadero, California, probably 30 or 34 years ago now...and they did a Seder....and part way thru, my brother in Christ Jesus held up a satin cover, highly decorated, with gold braiding, BUT not the same as my grandmother 's....But it took me right back to being the little girl sitting on the floor going thru my grandmother 's "remnant" box". I hadn't thought about it in all those years!!!!! So I went up afterwards to talk with one of the men from Jews for Jesus....and told him and said I wondered if my grandmother was Jewish.....he said it could be, and of course she had passed away many years before, but he said I should ask my mom. My mother , still in Ohio....told me angrily, "No!" said she ( my mother) had worked for a Jewish woman......and I'll not repeat....BUT.. it still has me wondering....and I'm 81 now. And have known Jesus for 48 years.....thank God❤ My twin brother still is not born-again and we both were raised in church since infants....thank you ahead of time for praying for him, I know you will😊..so whether we are Jewish or not....thanking God for my salvation at age 36.....
