I, too, am a Jewish believer in our Messiah Yeshua, saved 48 years ago. The Lord moved me from NYC to the central coast of California where a Gentile believer shared the gospel with me, and he became my husband after I got saved. We served as volunteers with Jews for Jesus for a few years in the early 80s and attended some of the Ingatherings JFJ had in northern Calif. What a blessing this organization has been to me and to the world. PTL.

I was raised in a very Jewish household. When I was 12 years old, my mother got very sick and was in the hospital for a long time. My 2 younger sisters were staying with a family from our synagogue. I was staying with a friend whose family was Roman Catholic. My mother told me that it was ok to go to church with them , but I shouldn’t pray to Jesus or kneel. At church I heard about Jesus saved me. It made much more sense to me than spending one day a year praying and fasting and hoping to get to heaven. At that same time I was preparing for Bat Mitzvah. I was attending Hebrew school twice a week after school and meeting with the cantor and the rabbi once a week. I asked my rabbi about salvation through Jesus. He did not want to talk about it at all, but my friend’s priest did. About 2 years later, in high school, I was very involved with USY. I enjoyed it but I couldn’t invite my Catholic friend. Our school had a group called Campus life. It was a Christian youth group. My friend and I went together. I was so impressed by their hospitality. They didn’t care that I was Jewish. In fact , I think they were happy to have me there. Same friend also introduced me to the man who is now my husband of 39 years. I went together church with his family on Christmas Eve when I was about 16. When it came time for Holy Communion, my then boyfriend said he wasn’t going to go up to the altar because the church was so crowded and we were all the way in the back and there were people in folding chairs in the aisle. He said it was too much trouble. I said,” Too much trouble?! After was Jesus did for you? Too much trouble for you to say excuse me to a few people so you can receive Jesus!!” A whole lot of people looked at me and even I was amazed. It was the Holy Spirit speaking through and to me. From then on I wanted to be baptized. I couldn’t get myself to do it in our hometown where my Holocaust survivor Oma was. When I went away to college, I found a church and asked to be baptized. The pastor didn’t know me and had never baptized a Jew before. So I met with him for a few weeks. I was baptized at 19 years old. In my family, it was a kind of don’t ask don’t tell kind of thing. Many years later, when I was 32, my sister got baptized at the age of 30. My parents came to her church for her baptism. Times had changed. My father died 6 years ago. I think he believed, but he would never say. My mother is still alive and adamantly refuses to hear about Jesus. I’m still a believer and my husband says he came back to belief because of me. I love Jesus and I always will.

When I first came to Jesus in the late 70’s my life turned upside down. I was in the new age movement, had been doing some drugs and “channeling “ and the devil did not want to let me go. I went through horrible spiritual battles but Jesus was with me through it all and showed me several miracles, even my atheist mom was saved which was absolutely incredible to me, but my cup is so full ❤ I love what Ariel said about comedies and tragedies and I am looking forward to the big hallelujah wedding feast of the Lamb. ❤❤❤

❤WOW! Susan came to my church when I was just a teenager years ago, in the late 70s in Colorado, and she spoke to the congregation. She literally changed our lives without knowing it all these years later to know the deep things about Jesus!!! I thank God for her, but she doesn’t know me!!! I was really trying to find out what happened to her. I wish I could talk with her to tell her what happened to me, in 2007, with my miracle from Jerusalem, that caused me to write my book about Jesus Testimony published on 5/5/15 (all Torah #’s). I want to share these secrets with her! And here she is being interviewed on your channel. It’s just so amazing. I will never forget the huge impact she left on me & my Mom (now with the LORD) & family. She is delightful, full of the Holy Spirit & down to earth ❤️😍🌷P.S. My Mother & Grandparents had good friends in Texas by the surname Rosen! I did not know about M. Rosen, but that amazed me! 🙏🌷

Isaiah 53 doesn't talk about Jesus. The gospel writers, none of whom were Jews, made up a new interpretation of Isaiah. The author of Isaiah says over and over again the suffering servant is Israel itself, not the messiah. The only way to interpret 53 as Jesus is to read nothing BUT 53 out of Isaiah. LOL

@ “But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on Him, and we are healed by His wounds. We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the Lord has punished Him for the iniquity of us all.” “Context: Isaiah 53 describes the Suffering Servant, who is a prophetic representation of Jesus Christ. The chapter highlights His humiliation, suffering, and death as a substitute for humanity’s sin. This passage emphasizes the extent of Jesus’ sacrifice, demonstrating that He bore the punishment for all humanity’s transgressions and iniquities, making redemption possible for all who turn to Him.”

@@ji8044 How about you explain about the two Lords here... Psalm 110:1
@mbobi8857
@mbobi8857 Ай бұрын
The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.” This verse is a prophetic declaration by Yahweh (the LORD) to Adonai (my Lord), who is identified as the Messiah. The Messiah is invited to sit at God’s right hand, a position of honor and authority, until God makes His enemies a footstool for His feet. In this context, “right hand” implies strength and approval, and “footstool” represents utter conquest and submission. This verse is often referenced in the New Testament, particularly in relation to Jesus Christ’s role as Messiah (Matthew 22:41-46, Mark 12:36, Luke 20:42-43, Acts 2:34-35, Hebrews 1:13). The significance of Psalm 110:1 lies in its depiction of the Messiah’s divinity and universal supremacy. Christ is not only exalted to a position of honor and power but is also seated on the throne of God, above all creation, awaiting the time when every enemy is subdued. The ultimate enemy to be defeated is death, which Christ conquered through His sacrifice and resurrection.” - Google helped you

@SCOTT77100 Do you understand the Torah is part of our scriptures? That is the very first thing we learn. Have you not read the New Testament? It is absolutely undeniable. If you are rejecting God... then I'm sorry, you will not be welcome in his kingdom. The scriptures are very clear. Rejecting Jesus is Rejecting God. Go read Isaiah 7:14 and then 53. I can give you many other reference points... Jesus fulfilled over 324 Messianic prophecies. I don't think you truly understand or comprehend the probability of that being able to happen. Mind you... I was an Atheist, science and mathematically minded who rejected all of it. And then I hit my lowest point, and a friend brought me to his church. Then I witnessed things I couldn't even fully put into words.. that I could only describe as near supernatural.. which was something I didn't believe in and thought was impossible. Then, I had encounters with Jesus and found out God was real. I went down the rabbit hole of trying to disprove it all... and the further I went down, the more I could not deny his existence and who he was. It was completely terrifying yet absolutely amazing at the same time. I had absolutely no choice but to submit and conclude to certain truths: God is real, Jesus Christ existed, the Holy Spirit is real, Jesus was the human embodiment of God, He loves all who accept him and rejects those who reject him, He died for our sins, He taught us how to live and treat one another, there is no greater power. Believe me... I wanted it all to be fake. But after everything I found and everything I witnessed.. it shattered my Atheist views into a 1,000 pieces and absolutely broke me begging for forgiveness. He does give mercy to those who accept him, ask for it, and change their ways. Please know... if you deny him, he will deny you. It is not too late for you to get to know him, understand him and accept him into your heart. And when you do... it is the most powerful love, peace, and secured feeling you'll ever experience in your life. I pray you change your ways and let Jesus into your heart so that you can be in God's Kingdom.

Hi, I bumped into your dear video on my KZbin feed yesterday. I love your honesty and practicalness Susan. I also grew up in Brooklyn . And I was extremely ignorant of my Jewish heritage. I've been pondering your video since yesterday. I am surprised that your family Rabbi didn't realize that your father WAS and is in heaven... I'm no Rabbi and I know that people say kaddish for 11months because it IS known that after a Jewish soul goes through its cleansing and understandings on deeper levels of truths it is then ready to move on to Gan Eden/heaven... it's deeper than that but let's stay simple. I love that you were a precocious 12 year old and asking questions 😃..but it tears my heart that you didn't get clear knowledgeable answers😢. Hey, 44years ago I could have VERY easily become a Jews for Jesus Jew. I love that the people here in the comments are so dear and loving..I'm sorry that your family were only worried about how it looked to other Jews that you became a JFJ..But they didn't really know their own Judaism. I don't want to get too long winded here...seems like I did already..lol..My husband told me today that Moishe Rosen was influenced by a man named Leopold Cohn.indirectly by an organization that he started.I just read about him..he ALSO didn't get his questions answered 😢😮‍💨... I'm sure you've heard these kind of comments before...I would just like to extend a loving invitation to anyone here to discuss further, if they want to know what it means to be Jew😍. All the best to all you dear souls. And I admire your desires to be better, kind and loving folks..all the best, with love and blessings from Jerusalem Aviva🙂🫶🏼.

Loved this testimony. I couldn’t help but recall the Words of Jesus when she was telling about her handing out tracts on the street as a witness of Jesus; “ many are called but few are chosen.” I know personally how much work there is to do. But it still breaks my heart that far too many choose to reject the Salvation that is theirs just by simply saying yes and following Jesus. Lord please open their eyes.

I’m a born again believer in Jesus Christ. It’s funny because I grew up in the Greek Orthodox church and everyone always had the same answers about death. They would say “may their memory be eternal “. Or “ we don’t know if we’re going to heaven “. Very similar stories and traditions. The Bible tells us we will have eternal life when we trust in Jesus Christ. As far as her being Jewish, the early Christians were basically Jews. Jesus came and His own people rejected Him. Jesus is the only way to salvation and the religious elites of that day didn’t even recognize Him! They spat on him yet He died for them. When I got saved and started reading the Bible I felt as though stories came alive and then I felt Jewish. I would cry when I read all the stories. The stories are all about Jesus. Jesus is real and we must turn to Him for salvation.

Susan: God has obv. been drawing you to Himself from your youth. He is a Father to the Fatherless - Psalm 68:5-6. Your testimony about meeting the folk singer Larry is most certainly a divine encounter... it sounds like your path crossed one of the legendary pioneering fathers of Christian Rock music, Larry Norman. Some have labeled him the Pied Piper of the Jesus Movement. He has recorded a couple of my fav songs titled: "I Wish We'd All Been Ready" and "Why Don't You Look Into Jesus?" and there's "Why Should The Devil Have All the Good Music". Amazing how the enemy put the old boyfriend up to phoning you, to subvert you from hearing the Gospel.... but God had designed a plan for you & Larry to meet up all along. Halleluyah! Thank you for sharing this amazing story. You are truly blessed.

I hope that your faith is in Jesus Christ alone and none in any of the sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church. My uncle was a Very Right Reverend Monsignor who died without being saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. God is not asking for our piety, our obedience to commandments, keeping holy days of obligation, or receiving sacraments - he wants us to accept the gift he’s holding out to everyone in the world in Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV! It comes with no strings attached and you cannot lose it for any reason (Ephesians 4:30) and all of your sins are forgiven upfront (Colossians 1:14 KJV).

@dfkuz 9 күн бұрын
@@savedbygrace6853 What if I told you that although God does want us to read his word, he desires for us to make an effort to find the words he has for us personally. The entire Bible is written to, for, and about God's chosen people and his relationship with them. He divorced Israel back in the Old Testament prophets and then when he sent his Son to offer marriage to Israel's sister, Judah, she rejected him so he also gave her a divorce (much like Joseph was counseled to do by his friends when Mary was obviously with child) in Acts 28:28-31 KJV. Proverbs, like every other book in the scriptures was addressed to citizens of the chosen nations of Israel and Judah. We are the spiritual descendants of the pagan Gentiles that were suddenly and for the first time in history allowed to be saved after Acts ended via the offer of eternal life as a free gift, Ephesians 2:8 & 9 KJV - unlike the chosen people's gospel that did include keeping the law of Moses and doing works meet for repentance (Acts 21:20, 26:20 KJV) which the Greeks saved during Acts were also required to do but their laws were called ordinances (Acts 15). From the end of Acts to the day of the appearing of Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:4) and his receiving of his earthly kingdom (his, not Israel's), everyone became a pagan Gentile (Colossians 3:11 KJV) and everyone is offered the free gift. You would think people would eagerly accept it but humans tend towards legalism (just like the Jews of Paul's day) and they want to prove their worth to God instead of accepting his righteousness as a gift. Of course we should read the Old Testament but we must do it intelligently, realizing it's not addressed to or pertinent for us today. Prophecy, which was Genesis through Acts, came to an end although it was not all fulfilled at the close of Acts. Paul received the revelation of the mystery which for the first time allowed us pagans to be saved, but the only scripture pertaining directly to us under the mystery today is found within the pages of Paul's epistles of Ephesians and Colossians, although not every verse in those two letters applies to us as Paul sent the letters out to all of his churches in Asia which were attended by Jews and Greeks exclusively and even at that time, pagans not keeping kosher (which is not a commandment for us anyway!) were not welcome inside the churches (which were usually held in synagogues because of our ritual unclean condition, and we pagans most likely were taught our gospel (Ephesians 2:8&9) and our doctrine out in the marketplace where close contact with us could be avoided. Today, we all have Bibles, but we are still only addressed in Ephesians and Colossians and it would be spiritual larceny to appropriate the defunct doctrine of the Jews and Greeks that gradually passed off of the scene!

Thank you for the lovely testimony! Please pray for my Jewish doctors, one of whom was open when I talked about the Jews being the chosen people, that i believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob, and that the Hebrew Scriptures (particularly Isaiah) point to Jesus. It was a good, kind, conversation. On another note, God often has us do things that are contrary to what we would want to do. He moved my Messianic Jewish friend from sunny CA to Hawaii, and then to Maryland where she sadly feels the lack of Christian Spirit, but He is using her well. Three Christian pastors I listen to were moved from their beloved CA to Denver, Maryland,& NJ (both miss the warm weather), and this lady was moved from her beloved NYC to CA!!!
