Silk Sonic is what Boosie Coolins call Bruno and Andy.The other 4 band members are Bruno`s Hooligans of his band, Brody on base, James King on Tamarine, Phredley Brown on lead guitar and Kameron on congo.Bruno and Andy have an Album coming out later this year. This is their project with Bootsie Collins hosting the album.They are not permanent they have their own seperate bands still.

I think the brotha to the left said it right the first time, Anderson Paak is a true artist. There's a difference btwn making songs and making music. The latter requires the gift, first and foremost, but also years and years and years of hard work to perfect the craft. That's evident in Paak's music with all of the transitions, key changes, modulations, melodic patterns, etc. Alot of these new entertainers want the respect of true artists and musicians without ever having anything to show for it. A top charting song on Billboard is not enough. Anybody can make a catchy song that'll have the word bopping to it. A woman went viral for doing that while being handcuffed and arrested, stomping and singing, "You about to lose yo job." But masterpieces like this deserve to be respected and put on a pedestal. This should be the standard. And to real music lovers, this is the standard.

We women want to run into this room with the door open after hearing BRUNO and ANDERSON paint such a lovely visual of what can be. Everything in the studio is from the 1970s...the furnishings, carpets, colors, disco ball lights, equipment, instruments like the tambourine - even the reel-to-reel shown in the opening, and the large green ashtray on the piano...all '70s vibe. The clothes they are wearing including on the girls, even the hairdos, all the sunglasses - vintage '70s. The "La la la la la" done by Bruno in the chorus and the "Woo Woo Woo" done by Anderson.Paak is a classic 1970's Motown sound as is the fade out of the song at the end. Although I am 63 years old and grew up with what I think was the best music of my generation, the '60s, and '70s, I am still in my 30’s in my mind, heart, and spirit due to this kind of music. This song has such a great vibe!!!!! I sort of feel bad for the younger generations as most of their songs don’t evoke romance, yearning for someone, fantasizing of what could be… I sure am glad young folks are making such great music again and that younger people are getting the chance to listen and appreciate real singing.
