This is the fourth round of 2019-2020 comp series from our Socal Premier RC comp club. This club is dedicated to hardcore scale comp guys. No lunch break, no raffles, no awards, and no mercy! It's strict SORRCA competition from beginning till the end of the day. Watch how the day unfolded on round 4! ( I missed Round 3 :( )

Ok. Sorry about the shaky video! I keep trying new methods of shooting and lately I was going for more dynamic and closer shots. Closer I am to the action, shakier it is going to look. Probably not for everyone't taste. I will eventually get it right haha. Constructive criticism is always welcomed. Please no bashing. Thank you!

Nice driving dude! The trucks have came up since 2012. You got dat serious steering ANGLE bruh, and don't worry bout cam shake my dude, normal when you try to stick with these little trucks, and run over the rocks yourself. Now, I don't know how big your cam is or even how you hold it, (maybe you hold and drive like I used to, which is a bit tricky, especially if using a selfie stick with the HERO3 on the end of the pole.) But, you could us PVC to make a stability rig, it's basically a small square that the camera sits inside of so that you may hold the camera with 2 hands, but again I realize that you might be filming and driving, so another solution to the shaky doo, is to use PVC again, but this time move the cam as far as you can toward the middle of the pole without catching it (the pole itself) in frame, kinda like a sword, it needs balance, and moving more toward the center will also make the camera feel less heavy. If it is a larger "handycam" or IPhone, try one of those bendy leg tripods, and curl the legs around your film hand, then tuck your elbow to your ribs to remain secure and use your body as the tripod, moving your hips instead of your shoulders to pan. But truthfully man, I really liked the truck and the video, nice work. Sorry about the book of human tripod btw, I just thought it might help a little.

Those Fords at the end look pretty good. My Brother drives a 1:1 and it would have to get on the Jenny Craig program to get very far from the pavement. :)

My brother also has a super-duty! But it's for carrying contractor stuff and some construction site dirt crawling.. I'd love to get my hands on a small 1:1 pickup but need to survive through this pandemic first! haha stay safe!

We are located Los Angeles area and we goto 1.5~2 hour driving range to crawl. A lot of spots in Apple valley, around San Diego, and etc. are you near?

you need an rc car, a bunch of people who do the same hobby as you, various forums can help on which car to start with, for example rccrawler dot com is a popular one

The best way to get into is find a local group, buy a RC (new axial SCX10.3 or old SCX10.2 or Traxxas TRX-4 would be a good start ) and start crawling. I had very basic truck when I started and went out for a local event. Then I was hooked lol
