I've been on this one. The part where there was a bow pointing at you, you felt that the arrow flew next to your head because there was a wind. Same goes with the cannon and the part where the monkey got shot by arrows. Also the part where the bugs flew around, when the lights turned off you felt them flying around and crawling all over you. The wind effect.

+macnak81 Yeah, I was thinking this looked exactly like what they were originally going to do with The Haunted Mansion. But even being a Walt fanatic, I'm glad we have both versions in existence. Because, though I have never been on this one, just from this video alone, I've decided I like both. Maybe The Haunted Mansion a little bit more because I am obsessed with the paranormal and with Halloween, but the little girl in me is a fan of cute, animated Disney films, too. So Haunted Mansion houses all my dark loves and this seems to encompass my childhood love and appreciation for the quality of Disney storytelling and animation. It is definitely highly imaginative story-wise.

Wow, what a stunning looking ride! If only I could get to Hong Kong just to see this... This is also an incredible homage to the Haunted Mansions, although it's also entirely its own ride. The head bust at the beginning of the ride where Albert first opens the music box, the changing Medusa portrait, the conservatory with the Venus flytraps, the singing suits of armor, the tribal room with all the tiki stuff, I always tear up when I see those parts, such loving homages to the original Mansions, and to the Enchanted Tiki Room. :') And such breathtaking creativity of the rest of the ride! I would absolutely love to see this at our own Disneyland parks! Every single inch of it is spectacular! That last room, the Chinese Salon, is awesome! I love the Monkey King, and I want a replica of that statue now. LOL Also, wouldn't it be awesome to see all these Haunted Mansion attractions have their own film series? We could start with a first film that's a crossover of the two American Mansions, then do a Mystic Manor one as its sequel. That would be amazing, wouldn't it? :D Or at the very least, let Mystic Manor have its own movie. ;) We could have Albert be the protagonist, as he watches his master collect all these artifacts from around the world, and when they come to life, he could interact with all of them, making some friends and enemies, and end it with a big showdown with the Monkey King come to life in the statue! Albert would be fighting the Monkey King to save his home and his master, but also maybe understanding why the Monkey King statue is angry to have been taken from his village or something. Long and short of it, this ride needs its own movie. LOL

Mystic Manor and the their version of Tower of Terror is something I want to experience for myself one day. Both of these rides have a lot in common. The music is phenomenal, the designs are unique and super creative, and they both push technological boundaries (Mystic Manor more than Tower of Terror though). Anyways, what I am trying to say is that I am super jealous lol I love Disneyland in California because it is the original park and the nostalgia is strong there with iconic rides but the innovation in China's Disneyland is incredible.

I really want this ride in the states! Picture a re-imagining of this in Animal Kingdom! A hunting lodge (almost like "Most Dangerous Game") where all the animals come to life and a bunch of other magical elements!

I live in Hong Kong. I was very hyped since the day I read the local newspaper when I was a kid!(Disney made an advertisement) HK was never a model city for others, but this particular ride is something I'm proud of.

This is Phenomenal! I mean PHE-NO-MEN-AL!!! More lifelike animatronics than in all of Disney World in that one set of rooms there! The video interaction was top notch with props even falling into scenes! Oh and let's not even talk about the trackless, computerized programmed cars. WoW!!!! Mouth dropped open from the start - still open at the end. Pry me from that seat. I'm going again!!!
