GoPro TrashCam → on an Amrep Automated Hopper!

Here is some footage that I have been arguing over with myself whether or not I should post it. LA happens to be extremely strict with employees and drivers climbing into the hopper due to safety precautions, however this driver (whom Kirk, Tony, and I have known for awhile now) was nice enough to set up my GoPro for us. I got a pretty good angle, maybe even one of the most decent views there is of an Amrep hopper on KZbin. Personally, I find this type of footage very entertaining and could watch it for hours.
I wouldn't be telling the truth if I said that this video will stay here permanently. Unfortunately, the first rumor I hear about a violation of conduct such as what was done in this footage and this video will be taken down, or made private/unlisted.
Please enjoy it while it lasts, and I ask that we all refrain from posting ANY comments that elude to location, truck type/ID, or who the driver is in this video.

Great video Eli! Finally an actual video of an la amrep , hopper angle. What i really admired was the packing it was really cool to see. Sucks that some people just put whatever in their green cans. I hope one day you can find a way to put it on a la bulk truck or dumpster truck. Great video man! Definetley one of my personal favorites ;)

Great video Eli, I really like the quality GoPro has, they really capture everything lol, I loved watching the packer go in and out through the whole 20 min lol, it really kept me entertained, what do you plan on doing with your GoPro next? Lol was that greenwaste in trash bags, I got scared when that branch hit your GoPro lol, Nice job!

I think greens is the best stream to watch get picked up from a GoPro angle haha I'm actually really impressed with how well the packer cycles, didn't clog up once. Haha always loved those carts full of leaves like at 17:37. Fun video, I'm glad the driver was willing to do this. Came out great!

I would suggest blurring out certain parts on the right side of the screen that show the curb and houses. Just to be EXTRA cautious, y'know? I've got some Amrep hopper footage myself and I'm being crazy careful about it.

Did you actually use a GoPro or a different camera? Cuz don't the GoPros have some bowl shaped video? And where are the oTTos, Zarns, and schaefers at?

In fact, I actually did use a GoPro with this video. Not all GoPros have a wide angle view. I still hope you can enjoy the video despite that. And those cans you mentioned are called "rare" for a reason
