I did a supermoto day with Brian and his crew and its the most fun ever and the best way to ride. So good I gave up sport bikes and ride a KLX300SM now.

#1 tip would be start attending track schools. That way you can make all the standard mistakes on the track where the consequences are minor. Street I still ride foot out style, upright, but don't really drop my foot out that much. A bit more nuetral.

I ride a 50cc street legal supermoto, and i feel anxious, i dont know what to do and what not to do on the corners, i dont feel safe not knowing. I'v crashed while turning and pressing the front brake. I need help 😀. I'v been riding for 4 months, only in the city.

First up is go to both a supermoto, or roadrace track school, and a dirt bike riding school. Basically get all the pro school coaching you can. It is by far the best money you can spend. If you can't afford that do kart track days on your 50cc, where you can safely learn confidence

I noticed myself holding the handlebars tighter on a sumo and a sportbike and that's because I feel like I slide on the seat more since I don't have grooves to grab(701 tank in the back.) Is this largely because I don't have a leather suit to grip (full mesh 2 piece atm).

When you put your foot out, are you actually supposed to touch the ground? Or is it just kinda there to let you know roughly how low you are?

I'm 6'2. I used to drag my heal but don't at all anymore. I havn't done lap times so I can't tell you absolutely what is better for me but it comes down to personal preference. Only way to get the right answer is with a lap timer though, My guess is most are faster and safer without dragging heal.

pretty close to mx, get that foot up by the front axle but don't straight leg it.
