Thank you for all of this. But there's a part that is confusing me .When attaching the hand wire to the body how did you use 6 cm for the hand , wrapped it to the body and still ended up with 6 cm that remain unwrapped? or did you mean wrap the body until 6 cm remains for the hand and 5 cm remains for the head? Also can I use modeling chocolate instead of fondant?
@selyfondantdiary2 ай бұрын
Yes, you're right, I meant the length of wire needed for the hands is 6 cm and for the head 5 cm, so the length of the original wire must be more than that because it has to be wrapped around the body frame. I have not tried chocolate modelling yet, so I dont know how it work hehehe.. thank you for your comment ;)

@selyfondantdiary6 ай бұрын
hii... aluminum foil will make the body lighter than using all fondant.. and yes, sometimes I let the parts dried first, like the ball or the head before adding his hair.. and yeah I used cornflour too to avoid stickiness or when mixing colors.. thankyouu..

Hi mam.. how to store e full fondant cake and place the elements on full fondant cake.. please guide me mam.. I got an order. Please help
@selyfondantdiary6 ай бұрын
hii... I usually made the toppers first before making the cake. I baked the cake a day before delivering it. so, I made the toppers days before D day, kept them/dried them in an AC room or in an airtight box. then I made the cake a day before D day, covered it with buttercream and fondant, then placed the toppers on the cake and kept the cake in an AC room overnight.. then delivery the cake in the next day...sorry for my late reply...xx

@@selyfondantdiary what if I don't use buttercream or client don't want?..then what will be the alternative options before covering the cake with fondant?? Also Can I store the full fondant cake in freeze? If Yes, then what is the process and what should be the temperature of freeze?..Thank you so much for revert back.. please reply my query this time also..Thank you in advance.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@selyfondantdiary6 ай бұрын
@@meghasaha5584 I know some other bakers use chocolate ganache to cover the cake, I had tried with it but fondant that cover my cake fell down.. so I used chocolate ganache between the cake's layers and buttercream only for covering all the cake..or you can try to find the chocolate ganache recipe with the right ingredient composition that suits with fondant 😊

@@selyfondantdiary thank you so much for replying ❤️❤️ also please clear the doubt about fondant cake storing in freeze.
@selyfondantdiary6 ай бұрын
Storing fondant cake in the freeze/fridge is depending on the climate you live in. If your country is cold has dry air, I know many bakers store their fondant in the fridge. However, because I live in a tropical, humid climate, the fondant will be wet when it comes out of the fridge. even in the fridge will get wet too. You can try storing a small amount of fondant in the fridge and then taking it out after a few hours.

Yeah, I made this tutorial, I think if maybe a client/customer wants this kind of soccer cake topper so bakers can make it too.. before putting on a cake, I think you can cover the wire with a straw or aluminium foil before sticking on to the cake 😊

hi, before sticking it into the cake, you can wrap the wire again with straw or wrap the stick in aluminum foil. Think of the topper as a cake decorating toy, safe to place on the cake but doesn't need to be eaten either..
