Thanks for reviewing a turf version. With more and more AG fields and arena style play happening, turf boots are definitely a market to speak to. Let me know what you think of the tiempo 9 turf and indoor version. I still wear my tiempo 6 turfs in arena settings. They are the last nike turf boot in kangaroo leather. I also coach in the adidias adipure turfs, which are also the last kangaroo leather boots made by adidas. I also coach futsal, which is definitely a growing development tool in the states.

Any review on turf shoes is VERY much appreciated - there's a lot of places around the world where turfs are what most people use (unless you're playing a club league game on natural grass). In my area there's no natural grass field that you can use for amateur/casual play for free but there's a bunch of AG fields for that purpose. Only problem is despite having grass blades and rubber pellets they are so hard and the grass so short that even AG outsoles are unsuitable (Pumas MG where ok, but from what I see they just changed it to a plate with less studs that got longer...) so 95% of people just use turf shoes all the time. Yet there's very little content (in English) on this type of shoes online. So please keep them coming, personally I'd love to see a Vapor 14 Pro TF review and comparison to the Speedflow.1 TF.

I agree with you. I'm from Brazil and we are used to playing at turf fields for amateur/casual purpose, here we call "Futebol Society" to refer to this kind of lawn. Actually, we are forbidden to use AG soles at turf arenas, we can only use turf cleats and that's why I think it's important to produce content about turf cleats.

It’s annoying that companies don’t make turf versions of their top models anymore. Nike was doing that a few years back and added lunarlon to their outsoles. It was great. Would love for companies to bring that back.

yeah more tf review. For some countries, these are shoes majority of people play in. The midsole seem to get higher every year. Difficult to play in high profile shoes. Very easy to break an ankle

Exactly. In Poland 90% of amateur/casual games are played on AG fields that are not suitable for AG stud plates (do to how short the grass is) so almost everybody plays in turfs. Yet there's very little quality content in English on turf boots on KZbin

I own a pair of the x 18+ indoors, and it is a lot more premium than what you have explained. There is a removable insole, the fit in the heel is the same except for the heel counter being internal, in surprised adi have cheeped out on even these.

I really think turf shoes should be the standard. Unless it is extremely wet or the pitch is extremely high quality there is rarely ever a need for studs. I wonder how many injuries would be avoided if people just wore turf shoes instead of studs on extremely grippy 3g

This is me. Unless it’s early morning and the grass is wet from dew, or soaked from rain, my turfs are just so dependable. Very hard to roll an ankle when changing direction on turfs, and when you feel safe, you play more relaxed (and hopefully better.)
