I really think Virtue and Moir were by FAR the best, so perfect, so artistic, so moving, so emotionally moving, such absolutely gorgeous and impressive ice dancing, completely unlike the gold-medal-winning pair! As to the concrete definitions of robbery by Jodi J, what they were robbed of is fair judging, fair scoring, which is why people say they were robbed of the gold.

Read my post below...I don't want to type it again....Are you an expert of "fair judging and fair scoring"??? A performance speaks for itself...That is why Meryl and Charlie won the Gold and have been unbeaten for the last two seasons.....They earned the Gold medal for the Sochi Olympics..

+Andrea Davis Seriously, Virtue & Moir were not robbed of anything. Their program was not gold medal worthy. They skated it well, but it was dull as dishwater. I heard they were the ones that wanted this piece of music so there was no one to blame but themselves. Silver was the right color for them. Davis & White were much better all around.

@Babalich, you must know nothing about ice dance b/c I/K spend no time they don't have to in dance hold and have none of the difficulty that Tessa and Scott do in their program and transitions. Look at how much they slow down in their footwork, how much farther they skate from each other, plus Nikita messed up his twizzles if you look closely.

Well said. I/K had great skates and they look striking on ice, but bronze is currently the most what they deserve for their skating even when it's perfect. When Davis/White and Virtue/Moir are gone, gold may very well be their's, because there is no one like V/M and D/W anymore, and the other top teams have their own shortcomings and weak points. Among them I/K are perhaps the most naturally talented, but they still have a long way to go and a lot of things to improve.

Tessa also messed up her twizzles in the short program.

starsmoon0216 That was in the team event SD. No one is talking about that here. This is the individual Olympic event. In the individual event SD Virtue/Moir got level 3 for one of their Finnstep sequences, and that was part of what made up the difference in scores. But many people question that level 3, as well as the GOE (Grade of Execution) and PCS that they got compared to Davis/White. The GOE and PCS especially, as there are at least several well known skating/ice dance experts who think that Virtue/Moir's SD was better on the whole.

Laura Vanadziņa If VM weren't competing against DW, they would have won the gold. However, that's not the way it was. Skating is subjective and people will always disagree. Davis and White's overall performance was technically more difficult and more artistic. DW have swept all the major competitions over the last two seasons and are the reigning World Champions. The experts have spoken.

Look at Scott, he is so happy and proud on this video. But lately, it's not the same thing at all concerning Scott. He barely smiles and he look so unhappy. It is really difficult to look at him.
