I have made peace with the fact that there are no good times ahead for the near future. It will be tough, I may have to struggle, feel pain, deprivation and lot more but I know my God will see me through it when it comes. I'm 38 and open to the idea that I just may actually see the coming of our Lord (at the rate things are going right now) I had no love for this world system so I will not care much for the way of life I will leave behind. Not that I lack anything now. I have a good job and family but I'm looking forward to our Lords rule on this earth or my being taken home.

I have been trying for months to draw people I know together to pray. They are not interested. I pray and my husband pray for these people and the world using the Rosary and the Divine .mercy. Great talk. You said 5o have a catechism handy. I was always taught to receive our Lord on the tongue, not in the hand, and in Canada Alberta the Catholic Church here refuse to give communion on the tongue only communion on the hand. So what can one do? I do not have consecrated hands to receive our Lord Jesus on my hands! When Jesus got into the boat and the disciples followed a storm arose. The disciples called on Jesus, woke him up, and then were amazed that the winds and the sea obeyed Him. What is that saying to us today? Obviously the disciples felt That Jesus could help or else they wouldn't have called upon him. Yet it tells us they were amazed at the results. As “cradle” Catholics our relationship with Jesus was initiated at Baptism, further enlarged and deepened with the Sacraments of Reconciliation ( Confession) the Eucharist and Confirmation. At every Mass we attend on Sundays/Holy Days and daily Mass if we are able to attend, we pray to Jesus, asking His forgiveness for sins we’ve committed since our last Confession, praise Him invite and receive Jesus -body blood, soul, and divinity. With due respect, our prayers petitions and actions are far more profound that the words/phrases/sentences you suggest.

I greatly appreciate your understanding of the Seals. I was raised Pentecostal and when I was fourteen we spent a whole summer studying the Book of Revelations. We were always taught that we were indeed in those times. This was in 1969. I have to say it greatly depressed me. I turned away from the teaching but I did ask God to guide me to the truth. The Catholic Church was in most non Catholic churches viewed as well totally wrong and sometime basically evil. I am sorry to say this but it is true. I personally did not jump on that band wagon. Fast forward to present now. There is the Body of Christ. These are extremely troubling times and I join with all who are believers in Jesus Christ. I do see we are in those times of tribulation. The signs are all around us. Satan is trying working overtime to cause chaos and havoc. God bless the two of you for laying out what is and what may lay before us. I pray for you and for all of us. In the Bible it says that in the last days the holy spirit would pour out "old men will dream dreams and young men will have visions" 450 years ago in Quito Equador in a convent sister Mariana recieved specific predictions about the people living in our century 450 years into the future. Ok - maybe you guys or someone here can help me w/ fasting .... I believe! I certainly believe in Medjugorje and in fact being a Catholic revert is b/c of that! And, that said ... For 5-6 years that my kitchen was stocked by the food pantry, I literally ate spaghetti every. single. night. for dinner b/c that was just about the cheapest option available. There were times I was crying trying to thank God that I had this on my plate. Now, over the past half a year, thank you GOD!, my life circumstances have changed dramatically. To ask me to fast is almost - well, it feels like pushing the button on a traumatic event that I have just gotten past. I do want to try - I have a recipe for fasting bread saved, for example - but just the thought of it brings me right back to those very tough former days living in a Hazmat apartment!!!

I feel like God reminded me...he can judge the world while still protecting his children. As he protected the children of Israel with the plagues of Egypt in the exodus. We are not to fear as the world fears. God is sovereign and in control, even when it seems like things are out of control. Nothing can happen without his foreknowledge and allowance to happen. We are not to fear what man can do, or even what the enemy can do. This is the testing of our faith, in whether we actually trust God and all of his promises and scriptures.
