In my country the law says that the property should always be divided equally to all the children...Be it girls or boys...they are forced to share their properties equally!!!! They have no right to discriminate...It's the law here!!If a person decides to give all his property to his sons only and not their daughters, their daughters have the right to sue their parents asses to the court...And then the court will divide all the properties to all the children....

Considering India may sound like I'm addressing the total population but India has a very wide range of admixture from every aspect of life, which I mentioned as colour. Thank you for pointing out. Being born in a educated family means no safety untill our mindset changes about raising girl child and make her capable to take responsibility for her own and her family too. This mindset is faraway in us. Likely my family doesn't belong to this section. But still we sisters have to face this discrimination somehow from our neighborhood. 😩

One day I went to my cousin brother's house and there he and his wife announced that they are expecting a child.
