Another aspect I would consider is social grace blindspots - not only social graces that grab us, but ones which could be important but which are more obscured from sight.

I'm interested to know what the social graces model would make of a homeless heterosexual white man having problems with substance abuse compared to a male university professor who is black, gay and has two properties, one of them a second home. How would that work? Who has the most 'privilege'?
