The same people who are calling for the police to be abolished were celebrating the police for arresting a 12 year old for saying something mean to a 27 year old on twitter 🤦🤦

It impacts everyone because social media is toxic to the core. Anything anyone says is met with someone trying to cause conflict and people feel so brave being awful to each other

Social media abuse: How it impacts players, Who cares, they get paid plenty, they can afford therapists and what can be done to stop it? nothing either unplug or put up with it. So let me get that straight they want all the praise but no criticism. Teletubbies generation is just pathetic!

Criticising a player because of poor performance is fine. However, when this criticism turns into either a torrent of abuse, maybe racial or just mental abuse towards a player from someone on social media, a line is crossed. This line needs to be made clear or there will be a uncomfortable grey area. The example of Wilfred Zaha was a fan who very clearly crossed the line and raises questions about how they manage to think like that in the first place. Are the parents of this fan setting a bad example. It is certainly a very complex problem with no one simple solution.

give me a break!these players are extremely priveledged, they dont own social media and cant demand people watch what to say incase they offend them or hurt their fee-fees,just play ball end of story,i dont want players who cant fight or act sensibly it shows a weak character and i dont want them in my club or league, when fighting for titles and champions league places!!!
