Topic...introduction to the feature of social change..... Social movement ...it means it type of protest which involved some leadership ,organished and protect against the state for change or regulation . And se ideas and probl related to that issue . it takes collective responsibility and successfulness of social movement tell how many people come for that movement . Those things and rights which we have not a sudden movement or incident but in past people do lot of movement for achieving these things . Like mahatma Gandhi satyagraha movement ,ahimsa and charkha accumulate lot of people to join him . But many of them do protest against these socialist movement and counter them . For example social movement for providing girl education ,many people critised this that it will destroy the society if girl rather than making food started to taking education and shifted private to public role . And raja ram Mohan Roy against sati pratha and formed brahmo Samaj to counter him dharm Samaj formed which does not want to do abolition of sati pratha . And many other want to allow widow marriage and against this some do protest and boycotted them . Difference between social change and social movement.... Social change is a long way run process like westernization and modernisation where social movement it involved people movement and takes lot of time for any change which happened through social movement .
