I find your videos to be very helpful. I haven't had to see a doctor for an evaluation, but I am struggling with getting disability. I have a lot of health issues that are painful, but my representatives failed to make sure the SSA had all of my medical records, and then when I had a hearing the records were not in front of the judge, so I am having to appeal and make sure all of my records are sent to the appeals council. I'm so stressed. There is no way I can work.

Hi Dr. Foster. Your videos have been very helpful. My friend had a SSDI special medical exam and the exam lasted 30 min. He did a quick physical exam, examined the left elbow for pain (deformity). He asked why are you here & proceeded to type his responses to his questions. He used your videos to help him prepare & respond to questions. At the end of the exam the Dr pulled down his mask, smiled warmly and told my friend he should hear back from the SSA in about 3-4 weeks. In your opinion, do you think the exam went favorable?

All your medications, your eyeglasses if you wear them, photo ID, and any assistive device (cane, walker, wheelchair, etc) that you use. You don't have to bring any medical records or paperwork. If you have an open wound, extra dressing material to cover it after the doctor has looked at it.
