Your description of utilitarianism calculus as not worrying about the worst off seems very odd. A utilitarian would recognize that before utility is produced by an individual during consumption, you have a heavier weighting of the worse off due to the law of diminishing marginal utility(The next $1000 produced more utility if you have $100 but not much if you have $1 mil. . If you added up everyones utility, you inherently get a heavier weighting of worse off individuals, you wouldnt have to apply a different weighing system after the fact. Still enjoyed the video!!

You're right. Utilitarians don't completely ignore the worst off. And, as you point out, it is definitely a better spend per dollar to spend money on the worst off under a utilitarian social welfare function. They just don't give them as much focus as Rawlsians.
