Well, apparently FB has changed it's mind AGAIN and now when you click on the three dots over each of your albums tab, you can now download individual albums again. Not sure how long this will last or if they will change the location but for now you can. Be Blessed, Audrey

I have not figured out a way to do this yet. I know you can download whole albums by going to Media > Albums > once inside the album clicking on the three dots at the top right and download album. But if you have photos not in an album it looks like you have to download them one by one. UGH! Sorry, i couldn't help further. Audrey

Hey Carl, I have not tried downloading tagged photos with a third party app, so I can't help you with that. I've only downloaded the pictures one by one of the ones I wanted. Sorry about that. So you still have access to your albums but not the photos and videos? Are the photos inside the albums? If so, then your best bet would be to download each album just so you make sure you can get those photos downloaded. Be Blessed, Audrey

Hey Kim, first thing to do is make sure you have enough room on your iPad to be able to download all those pictures and videos. If not, I highly suggest you download them to the other services like Dropbox or Google Photos. I had to download my other account to Google Photos because the file was so big. I eventually figured out I could batch download them to an external hard drive from my computer but that was after I downloaded them to Google Photos. To download from your iPad follow these steps: 1. Click on Menu at bottom right of app 2. Click on Settings & Privacy 3. Then click on Settings 4. Click on Download Your Information (Under Your Facebook Information) 5. Make sure just your Photos & Videos are highlighted (unless you want to download everything) From here you should be able to follow the directions from the video. If you want to download to another service then at step 4 Choose Transfer a copy of your Photos or Videos. Then choose what to transfer, choose destination and follow prompts from there. Hey there Gisela, If I'm understanding correctly you want to download the photos onto an external zip hard drive and not on your computer? If that is the case, when the option appears to choose where you want the photos to be downloaded you should be able to choose the hard drive and just download them there. Of course you'll want to make sure you've got the hard drive hooked up first so that it will show up as an option to download it to that. Hope that helps. Hey there, I don't know what happened but I responded to you and now I don't see that response anywhere. So sorry for that. I know it's been a week but were you able to get it downloaded? My suggestion was to do it in smaller batches making sure that you have enough memory on your tablet so that it can download them all. If not, I used the first suggestion downloading to another service like Google photos and I was able to download everything at once with no issues. You might want to try that as well. Not that I know of Larry. Someone did mention that it was different on a PC but if you've downloaded zip files and opened them before then you should have no problems. Unfortunately, this only downloads FB Albums. The "album" is html links. I do not see where my entire "Your Photos" are. I don't have everything in an album. Is there a fix to this?

Hey Kristi, the only format you can download them is HTML or JSON. When you pick the HTML it should automatically download the Your Photos into it's own folder. At least that is what it did for me. Jerri, you're not the only one that is having that problem. Seems like FB is doing something behind the scenes. You might want to try downloading to Dropbox or Google Photos just to get them onto another service. From there you'll be able to download them too. Hey Nadeem, they will remain on your computer but the file will no longer be ready for you to download again. You'll need to recreate the file and download again. But once on your computer they are there until you delete them from your files. Be Blessed, Audrey

Hey there Maris, the way it downloaded for me was it put all my Your Photos into a folder called "photos_videos, then inside that it has the name of the post with the images inside it. If you just start opening folders I'm sure you will find all your images and videos in there. Audrey

Kimberley, how many photos do you have? Facebook has been acting crazy because of everything that has been going on and on my main account I had to download my images sometimes by the month because of the amount of images and videos I uploaded. It was more of a pain in the butt but I was able to download them all and it didn't get stuck or give me an error message. It's been this way for a little while on Facebook. Even if you wanted to change your password you would have to put in your password to your account. They say it's for extra security in case you left your account opened and someone had access to it, they wouldn't be able to edit your account unless the password was put in again.

Hey there Joseph, To be honest, I didn't even realize they were downloaded so small until this comment. I don't think there is a way to get them to the full size. I looked around and couldn't find anything. The only thing I found was that you could upload images in HD but you have to change your phone settings for that and I'm not sure if then they download as larger files. This is very helpful! I saw that thing to download your pics to an app which is public like Google images. I was pretty upset. This is good news! FB keeps threatening to delete my account. One because I uploaded with no commentary pictures of Indian food (China started a war with India and the censors on FB are from China according to general Spalding) a sermon about forgiveness and the last thing was a story about Hunter Biden having sex with the actress from Mulan. I appreciate this because I only downloaded a few last time and need to take care of this asap. I would rather not stay on a service that violates my rights! Thanks again!

I had the exact same thing happen to me on my other account. I literally had to download by the year and even then I had two years that had a lot of photos and videos and it kept crashing. The only thing I could do was do that transfer to Google Photos. I do pay to have like 2 TB of space so I was able to download them and put them on my backup hard drive. That would be my only suggestion is to download them to another service and then get them on your computer. Hopefully this helps. Be Blessed, Audrey

That seems to be working just fine. All my photos and videos go all the way back to 2008 so you can imagine how many I had over the years. Unfortunately I don’t know of a way to download a friends album. The only thing I know to do is download the images individually. Unless you’re close enough to your friend, you could ask them to download the album and share/send it to you. I wish I had a better way but maybe someone else reading this comment may know of a way. Yep, that is because Facebook did it AGAIN and changed the process. This is the new process: 1. Click on your profile picture at the top right of your screen 2. Click Settings & Privacy 3. Click on Settings 4. Click on Personal Details over to the left of your screen 5. Click on Your information and permissions over to the left of your screen 6. Click on Transfer a copy of your information (in the middle of the screen) 7. Chose the profile you want to download the images and videos from 8. Choose what information you want to download (your photo and videos or photos, videos, posts, notes and events > Click Next 9. Now choose where you want the media files to be transferred to. I would suggest Google Photos since this is a free platform and majority of people already have a Gmail (Google) account. Once it's been transferred you can login to Google Photos and see them there. Hey Gary, yep, as soon as this video came out FB changed it up again. In order to download your photos you now have to download them to another service like Google Photos, Docs, Dropbox of Koofr. To find that just go to Settings Privacy > Settings > Privacy > Your Facebook Information > Transfer a copy of your information and follow the prompts. Hope that helps. Audrey
