On the personal profile side I have heard that Facebook are phasing out being able to follow personal profiles. Do you think this to try an encourage more sole traders to create a business page?

Hi there -- this is only partially true. Facebook plans to morph personal profiles into ProMode if you have public followers. If you don't have followers, you'll remain in Classic/Main Mode and have friends only. It's a slow roll out over many months. It's more about distinguishing between the original style of personal profile with friends only and keeping the ProMode with public followers more like the public/business Page. Facebook introduced the whole ProMode for personal profiles concept in late 2021 specifically to support creators, entrepreneurs, solo professionals, etc. to make better use of their profile vs. having a Page. I recommend both, still. Hope this clarifies!

@@MariSmithVideos this is really useful so public personal profiles won't lose their followers, they will be automatically moved over to ProMode?

I don't agree with links on the comments section on Facebook because they disappear once the comments start to grow, then people might not be able to find it. It's best to place the link on the post.
