My go-to was Knorr (nee Lipton) envelopes, switching up the flavors and between pasta and rice. My protein of choice was tuna and I guess hot dogs or sausages, though not often enough that I even remember those meals. I added some type of frozen veggies, my favorite being "mixed vegetables (yes, VEGETABLES, I'm not a Neanderthal). I probably had some combination of those ingredients three times a week. I'm still here. 😄

Beans and rice, or pasta marinara with some veg added, were my weeknight college go tos. I hit the food blogs hard in the early aughts though and loved cooking fun stuff when I could afford it.

Looks delicious. Used to eat pasta-roni with popcorn chicken regularly. First real meal I remember making regularly was patty melts and tater tots. My go to after school when I was in the 6th grade. I say patty melt, but it was made with white bread. My parents weren't buying anything other than the cheapest bread at the store. Still learned a lot about grilling burger and toast in a pan and make them for my family at least once a month.

This is shit that I used to do,and still do,those creations growing up just hit so hard. Even spaghettios (your favorite) over the tyson patties with parm and pepper. Plus some were made under the influence and I still love them,I'm making this lol

Lived on George Forman turkey burgers. "Stir Fry"- diced pan cooked chkn, frozen vegg + canned water chestnuts, bottle sauce n rice. Frozen chkn breasts- defrosted/baked in Teriyaki sauce

Back in Boston in the early 90s I would stop at Legal Seafood and pick up a quart of fish chowder. At home cook up some pasta, and heat up some frozen peas and add the fish chowder. The kids always liked that dish.

For me, it's as simple as it gets, but it was scrambled eggs on buttered toast for lunch. I've since upgraded it a bit and lay down slices of smoked salmon on top of the eggs.

That looks 💣! To be honest I actually prefer those Tyson patties when I make chicken parm. So good & effortless! I’ve made homemade chicken parm, very good yet a lot more work, yet there is something about those patties… So for now on, if I want the real deal, I’ll just go to a restaurant for that (support locate business) authentic experience. However, I would probably eat this version more!…

No shame in nostalgic foods from time to time I get the chicken patties cause I loved them in grade school we got them like a burger just bun and chicken patty but it was good as a kid I guess and a little ketchup and mayo made it way better

Man brings back memories. Get paid from the shop rite on the corner of Hagadorn and G.R. on Friday buy me some Pasta Roine and jegh ingredients and a 12 pack of bush lite plus a half pint to pregame for the Riv , landshark aka the grand river and 3 block radious bar crawl. GOOD TIMES. Man to be 22 again and be a raging party Dumb ass and recoup by Monday to be a subpar stand up individually in life . Now 3 beers and a shot Iam like Woow Woow I good things to do in the morning.
