Just once I'd like to see somebody demonstrate how to put on regular socks, for a person who's going to put on their shoes and go out the door. These demos always use these stretchy house/bed socks. I have a back injury, I can't bend in certain ways, but I'm still going to put on my shoes and go to work.

the standard sock aid works for crew socks, but I have to put the sock over the knots to make it go all the way up.

Thanks. Oddly enough, your comment reaches me long after the back injury is well, but while I'm waiting to be discharged from the hospital for a knee infection. Last year, I made myself a odd looking but functional one of these devices with a piece of vinyl flooring and some strings and I think it's going to come in handy in the next week cuz I cannot bend my knee.

Can you show a video of how to put compression socks? (an old 80+ person, who can’t bend much from waist?) Thanks!

How do you pull the socks the rest of the way up? The blue one was very baggy. None of those socks went all the way onto your foot. That would not work in a shoe.

Maybe you could use one of those grabbers with a pincer at the end to pull it up? She also had a dressing stick by her side with hooking features on the end, which might also be useful.
