Another chore Granpa may like is sorting recycling for you (soda cans and water bottles) OR stacking up newspapers/cardboard OR cutting out coupons. Even if you don't use them, it will make him feel good to save you both the $$. Giving him chores to focus on, is better than his mind focusing on his keys and car. Yah❓

Yay Grampa. A man on a mission. Happy and actively involved. Good on you Danielle!! My cousin is a nurses aid on the seniors floor of our local hospital. She is so amazing. She brings in her cd played and plays music of the 30’s and 40’s. The seniors are tapping their feet, singing along and are so happy. She also brings up assorted towels and facecloths from the laundry and they all love folding them. Now she is teaching them the hand jive. What a gal. The seniors love her!! Just like you and Dan. Always providing little outings and activities for Grampa. 👍🏻💕

That was an awesome task to ask if he wanted to help with, and before y'all azzholes who want to say negative shit, just don't....she's not forcing him bc as we all have seen if he doesn't won't to he doesn't! And it's a good mind task like how they do the match the pairs when you're small to help with memory kinda same thing but just with socks and makes grandpa feel helpful... Hope the shit pond got fixed!! Hope it didn't do any damage to the yard and grass and such, that can be a hella mess..we had ours back up few years ago and with my OCD (where my triggers are germs) I just about had a fuking mental break when it happened..i was freaking out thinking someone would walk in the yard and track germs in my house and those thoughts about made me have a mental break for real I made the ol jack azz partner get clorox and put it in the sprayer thing to the water hose and spay the whole area with bleach just to appease my intrusive thoughts....but hope yours is fixed and no more shitty ponds...
