Hiking is very mental. Your ability to stay positive is genuinely what actually kept you alive. You could have easily died in the alps on that night hike. Yeah not gonna lie that hiking is more extreme than my own hiking experience, because mine is literally going up into the mountain and going arround it and getting down in the mountain, but this one is more extremely hard compared to my own experience 🥶🥶🥶

Just going to put it here, that entire hiking experience is hazardous. You can't shortcut your way out on a hike (Ex: no proper gear to wear, no guides when you don't know the environment, rushing your way even though its nightfall). Listen to those who's more experience and don't make an example of what's being shown here. A proper hike NEEDS a lot of thoughtful planning and 100% a fresh mental and physical state. This is just horrifying, thank god you get out of that still being alive.

Right am I the only other one who agrees? This is just nonstop irresponsible preparation, hiking, camping, training, everything. This is not noble or something to be grateful for. It’s actually quite stupid and dangerous, and they don’t think of anyone but themselves. Rescue missions can be often dangerous too, and it’s quite selfish to potentially put others at risk because you’re doing something stupid and not qualified to hike something. God forbid something happened to his friends or his camera crew. We should not be encouraging stuff like this.

I’m not a hiking expert, but I can confidently say that what you guys did was so dangerous, it could have cost you your lives! Hiking sleep deprived, with barely any preparation and minimal equipment are not optimal for that situation, thank God you guys made it. Just a tip for anyone attempting something like this, you can rehydrate your dehydrated camping foods with any temperature water, if it's cold or room temperature you just need to give it an hour or so to fully hydrate. Not the best tasting, but will give you crucial energy needed to keep going. Also always keep a life straw with you. If it came down to it you can actually drink your own pee in a survival situation with a life straw.
