Testing XYRON STICKER MACHINE - Easy Stickers without a Printer!

I've had the small one for a few years, and have a couple tips that may help save some of the 'wasted' space on the adhesive strip: 1. Gently push the artwork into the machine, and make sure it doesn't 'scootch' back out as you are pulling it through. 2. If you're making more than one sticker per session... start the second (& others) close to the one before it. Just place it in before the one in front of it is completely through. Be sure to not let them 'piggy-back' (overlap). I hope this helps... it helped me.

You can lessen waste by putting multiple pieces in, very close to each other. After, you can cut them apart with scissors. 🤗👍

They are worth the money. I don't know how that happened in the video but I've been using Xyron stickers machines for years and never had an issue like that. It was making a weird squeaking noise too that I've never heard with the two I have.

A sticker is much easier to apply, glue won't be completely flat like a sticker, there are some surfaces that you don't want/can't put gluestick glue on but which you can put a sticker on, the edges of things that have been glued down will peel up more easily than a sticker since the adhesive fully covers every little bit of a sticker whereas it's much harder to achieve that with glue unless you glue outside the edges but sometimes that isn't workable, if you want something you can reposition then you can use a removable sticker and obviously you can't use a gluestick for that, and so on...

I use the Silhouette Cameo machine to make stickers and it’s not only super simple but you can design your own stickers and make all sorts. I use different types of sticker papers like glossy or matte and the machine will kiss cut them just like the store bought ones. I feel like those Zyron machines seem cool but they seem to waste so much more adhesive paper whereas with the silhouette you can use all spaces of the paper.

I think Xyron should send you a free replacement cartridge, it’s the proper thing to do to keep customers happy. You didn’t even get to use an inch out of it!!

I think it gets messed up in shipping, honestly. I just received mine from Amazon yesterday and it was so messed up that I have to cut off the sticker paper in the back so I can just pull through then next one. Also, mine came with a refill but the refill is for the smaller version...lol.

I love making stickers for my friends this is how I make them :first get a sheet of baking paper then make a picture or print it out next cut it out and put sticky tape on top of the baking paper and then put the picture on top of the sticky tape next put the sticky tape on top of the picture and then cut it out make sure to leave a little bit of space then you just have to peel the baking paper off and put it anywhere you want ❤❤❤🎉

I have both, love the small one, large one is a pain in the butt. If I could get the paper in it, there was so much extra adhesive that was almost impossible to remove. I love the X for ribbon

For the smaller Xyron sticker maker you could put your two stickers together in the machine, obviously not on top of each other or whatever but pretty close, so when you pull them through that way you're not gonna lose that wasted bit of sticker which is what happens when you pull through.

You can make a 'sticker' out of more than just PAPER... I've had some success with coins, tiny silk flowers, silk leaves, fabric, buttons, sequins, ribbon, yarn, etc. As long as it will fit into the little slot, it will work!

I have had my Xyron-X for several years (more than 6 yrs, at least) and as long as they have not redesigned the current ones; the coins should go through. Just rub both sides well before you remove the clear paper. -- You should rub all items very well before removing the clear top paper. Good luck!

I had rhe mini one many years ago. Used it a little bit, moved alot and it ended up in storage for a few years, pulled it out assuming the adhesive would be ruined and it worked perfectly, even though it had been opened for at least 3 years.

Those versions of the xyron can be tricky. They have newer models where you don’t have to fool with tucking in the tail, before you start. You may want to look up an adhesive eraser..... let me know if I can help... be glad to let you not have to fall in to the same trap that I and others have .

If you take your time looking, all you need is wrote on the machine, I’ve been using the ‘adult’ sticker maker for years, no instructions come with it, it’s quite straight forward.

I looked it up real quick and it says that the adhesive is permanent. So I wouldn't stick it to anything that you can't use a razor or alcohol on to remove it.

I have 2 Zyron machines. The middle one and the jumbo one. I would never waste my time with that little one. It wastes so much. As you use your big machine and get used to it you'll be able to judge how to position things to get the max use. God bless you Sarah ❤ XOXO
