WATERCOLOR SUNSET PAINTING w/ Mandala Doodles & Mountains + Chat | SoCraftastic

See an easy way to paint a colorful, watercolor sunset with abstract mountains. This demonstration for beginners shows you how to blend colors of paint and create a beautiful, mixed media piece of art. I use a white gel pen to create mandala doodles in the sky and a black fine-liner for some Zentangle (ish) elements. There is a mix of tips & techniques commentary along with an inspirational chat about how I tackle feeling overwhelmed as well as ways to get more motivated.

I recently painted a mountain sunset with paints and was wondering how to do something similar to do with watercolours and didn't know how to create the same effect with watercolours, and this has really helped me to be able to do that so thanks! P.s I love your videos and I love art so they help me become a better artist so thank you for making this channel! 😊 I also about a week ago got some brush tip markers for my birthday so I can hopefully do the colour too!

I totally understand how you feel. I live in Michigan and when the weather changed, I ended up with a flare up with my asthma. The past week has sucked, and it makes it difficult to work or do anything. Also, I really loved Freak Show. For me, Hotel wasn't that good.

drawing your own gift wrapping for the holidays. On brown paper so lots of white and pale jelly roll pens ! I always wanted to try. I helped my cousin do Nightmare Before Xmas Christmas for her kids. We did all the movie ornaments and I drew spirals in black sharpie on plain white paper. We also used Halloween ribbon (on sale) to finish all the gifts it was the cutest but I always wanted to do something like that again.

I only got about halfway through Freak Show, I couldn’t get into it and I HATE clowns. My least favorite season that I watched was Asylum. When I first started Hotel, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but ended up loving it! Currently watching Roanoke, but haven’t gotten into it that much yet. I hope you end up liking Hotel!!

I am sad your views are down - I love your videos. Even if it isn't a craft I am going to try you are always so upbeat and happy in them I like to watch them. And there are a bunch I have tried and I think your ideas and instruction are great I am glad you don't worry about the view count anymore - it stinks that you have to in the first place. But I think your videos are great and I think you should do stuff you enjoy and don't worry about the trends - maybe you can start one yourself (and honestly I do like the slime videos because they are fun). And of course seeing Leo in your videos is always a nice bonus when he decides to show up!
