I'm a bit past my school days and it's probably a bit late to benefit much from getting more organized. I always enjoy seeing... your... videos. You're very attractive and expressive. Planners? How about Rocketbook? It's reasonably priced, so we're not just talking exclusively to the iPad and Galaxy S7 crowd. I think they have one variation that includes some planners, and you can always use permanent ink to make your own templates. I'm 58 and always been into computers, but especially for younger people, I think virtually all of this stuff is done on the phone or tablet today. I still calculate a square or cube root by hand once in a while b/c I've always liked certain kinds of math, but there's really little need for those skills anymore. I know you're really talking about time management,... but ostensibly this all seems for pragmatic young people.

@rustamfadeev91983 жыл бұрын
Yes, this planning is amazing for productivity for like couple of days before you start feeling that you don't relax enough playing your favorite game. In this planning there is no time for BIG relax time.
@flaviocampos35813 жыл бұрын
This is a daily schedule. Not a full week. You can and should have a day in the week to just relax. If you do this 6 day a week, it will be more than enough. But I would add some workout (not sharing with friends time.. they are not the same) on this routine, healthy body is important too. So you can play games during the 30 minutes breaks and on your rest day you can play games all day.... But if you want a challenge and love games that much, you can play during the 5 minutes break. A boss fight usually won't take much longer, finish a full level will take longer for sure. A good puzzle you can get the idea in 5 minutes and complete on the next 5 minutes, an arena can be done in 5 minutes. But remember to "turn on/off" your brain from the game, only do during breaks. But if you want to play online games.. will be harder or impossible, unless they have some practice tool where you can improve, you can do that during breaks and maybe a match a day during the big break. And MMOs... they are a problem xD. If you add all the time you will play 1:20 +- per day + 8h-10h on rest day. 16h-18h per week of gaming. Ps: I am a game designer.. I love games and they are a great, even for learning sometimes. They are especially amazing if you want to learn how to do one (art, math, programming, psychology, sound, and goes on and on).

I feel like Pomodoros work best for repetitive tasks, but if the task is about creativity or problem solving sometimes the inspiration comes right before a break so you can't stop because you might forget your train of thought after the break is over. That happened to me while coding and decided that it's best to just sit there and work on easy stuff until the inspiration for the hard problem comes. And then squeeze it all out until it stops being coherent or I get stuck, then I take a break. Edit: OMG! I love YogaWithAdriene! 100% recommended.

Disc-bound planners in the 8.5 x 11 size are infinitely configurable, you can get different size discs, a hole punch, and design your own inserts in whatever software you are most comfortable with, print them out as needed. I love this system, it's the only thing that's stuck, and it's kept me sane while tracking all the remote learning going on in my house right, including my own. If you're having a hard time sticking it out with planning, disc-bound planning systems are worth the dive down the rabbit hole, just sayin'.

This can work in exam times but if one do it regularly they will become robots! And it will overwhelm oneself. Mind needs breaks so that it can digest what it had learn. If we are bound to only learn and study what has been written it would kill our creativity. In math you may need a day to only think about a problem you may walk or you may spend your day it doesn’t matter it’s important to be able to think about something passionately. This planner also is a way to kill an student with adhd or any other mental disorder.

These tips will only work for well adjusted people. Pomodoro doesn't work for me because a 5-1 work to break ratio is too depressing and I can't punish present me for the sake of future me. Fuck future me, he's a dick. 5 minutes isn't a "break" it's enough time to go to the bathroom and get a drink, maybe check notifications, but you can't check/respond to texts, because then you'll just get distracted. 2-1 or 3-1 ratio is more realistic, and I'd rather take a real break so like 40 minutes working, 20 minute break. I can only do Pomodoro if I am actually interested in the subject, which unfortunately wasn't the case for me when I was in school.
