The problem with those videos is not the build itself but the people saying it's the best build. The reason some tanks are going glad tank is neither for threat or tankyness, cause both are worse. They are going glad to max dps for parse and speedruns, which is totally legitimate but still niche and not good for normal raids lol

All you guys saying fury tank is better than prot… I’m a deep prot warrior and I will pull 10 mobs and hold all aggro. And if I have alpha .. mages can do 700-800 dps without worrying about pulling threat. I’ve tanked warrior for 15 years. Prot is the best if you can figure it out. But you need key binds . Don’t have time to be clicking.

you cant say anything before they tune shield slam. This build is low dps and low threat vs a fury tank anytime.

Do you think it is worth going 2 points into tactical mastery so we can instant cast mocking blow in case a taunt is resisted? Or do you think Vigilance puts us in such as spot where it really shouldn't matter overall? This also would sacrifice 2% crit by not going a full 5 into fury.

homunculi counts as 5 stacks of sunder for devastate's sake, it wasn't that way at launch but they fixed it

Arcano is capped at lvl 45 enimies so it's a no contest

As a question: if u take vigilance rune over shield mastery on head arent the 2 talent points in improved taunt kinda wasted or let me rephrase it better put somewhere else like the 4% more armor we could get for it?

sword and board tanking needs to be the meta, a tank should not have to use two hander or two one handed weapons it makes no sense for a tank to have to do that, Sword and board should be the only meta for a warrior tank specifically and it makes me happy to play my warrior tank again because i havent touched it since i hit 40 phase 2 kinda killed my sod hype, but excited for the sword and board rune!
