Holy cow, Randy! Those costumes. The treasures you have are amazing. The people in power in Wildwood are not too bright. That block where your museum is could be lively and bustling with visitors to that place. The vintage games would draw them in and they’d stay for all the Jersey shore history. Fools!

Awesome video! That thing doesn't make sense about the soda machines. Wildwood needs to do better. And I never in my life would I think we would get to see an a$$ roller/ massager and Randy doing a little twerking all in the same video. 😂😂😂 Randy I really hope you do open a museum one day with all of this stuff in it. So interesting. Love ya brother 🙏🏻

Oh, you can't do that... Someone might get a soda... Wouldn't providing that service be a terrible thing. The actual fact is that after paying the electric bill to run those big refrigerators in the Summer Sun, the profit after product costs and maintenance, would be zero... It was to bring some light and to provide a service for people... But hey, IT'S NOT PERMITTED!

I always loved to push the big button on those machines. Great sounds, the coins drop, the sound of the mechanism softly releasing the soda can. It's beautiful.@@MainStreetRANDYLAND

The rolling machines were used in Health Clubs in the early 60's and were still around in the early 1980's in some places. They are muscle massagers for your legs and glutes (ass). They were also part of the passive exercise marketing fads that weren't legit for weight loss, but sold as such, like the jiggling machines with the wide belts that you leaned back into, as though that would help you "reduce" or lose weight, and were very popular with women, sold to homes and I see now they were also set up for the general public to use by putting quarters into. But the rollers were useful for leg and glute muscle massagers for serious weight lifters. Back in those days there weren't deodorant sticks, as I recall people in the Health Clubs (aka Gyms) used clouds of talcum powder, until aerosol spray deodorants were invented. I happen to have a jiggling machine because my son liked the sensory experience and it was $40 on craigslist! But it certainly won't make anyone lose weight. It's amazing what people were happy to pay for and use as long as it wasn't hard work, hoping for an easy solution to fitness. Thanks for sharing the memory on video!

Randyland seems like the kind of place where everything comes to life at night by way of some boardwalk amusement magic spell from a Zoltar Fortune Teller machine.

If it were a movie, I am certain that would be their angle... But in reality, all things in my world have life and feelings, and love me, as they are all together with my history shared with them which is how we met. In large part I saved them from destruction at the hand of their former owners, and if I had not rescued them, they wouldn't be. It is a story of love... I gave them life, as they have given me life too.

In USSR in the 80s vending machines were out in the open public. There were drinking glasses on top of the vending machine that you place your glass inside paid and some soda would come out. Then you placed the drinking glass on top of the machine for the next person!😅😂😂

WOW. Everyone used the same glass... GERMS! What if the glass fell and broke, it blew off with a wind gust? No soda for you! I have used soda machines which poured the drink into a paper cup it automatically dropped... Sometimes the cup got stuck and the soda went down the drain before the cup fell! It even dropped in crushed ice! I guess it is cheaper not to buy paper cups ... Just put a glass on top!

@@MainStreetRANDYLAND Correct over time the chained a glass to the machine because people started stealing them, then did away and people actually carried small collapsible cups.
