Dang, how do you come up with all these amazing comps with half-naked champs, great stuff! Inspired by your renegade video, I’m now actually running a spider team with only 1 champ with any masteries (coldheart) and mediocre leftover gear on the whole team, not to mention the level 1 renegade (well, she’s level 23 now). All I did was fully book my sicia’s a2 and a3 and adjusted some speeds and I went from farming stage 13 to farming stage 23 in just one day!!! Yes, that’s 10 stages! So thank you so much for all these awesome videos🙏

Excellent, this is really helpful, because prior to this vid I thought that Paragon strategies were not possible on full auto after the AI changes. I didn't realize however, as you point out in the video, that all you needed to do was ensure that the unkillable drops off prior to Paragon taking his turn. For the moment I only have Ignatius as my AoE burn, and because I am relatively early FTP I won't be able to book him so his AoE burn will have to remain on a 6 turn cooldown, but at least its 100% chance to land and doesn't require accuracy. It will be a slower kill, but I don't mind so long as it's full auto. For turn meter reductions I will be using Geomancer in relentless gear, but I was thinking of a second Armiger that is also in relentless (since I'd rather not book Lich). If I use a stronger ascended Armiger, is there any risk of him ever being targeted by the Spiderlings? Or will they always go for the weakest Armiger? Also, how much better is farming Spider 25 over Spider 20 in terms of gear? What about Spider tourneys - is it more energy efficient to farm 20 or 25?

The spiderlings should always target the weakest Armiger, though like I said in the video, you may need to significantly level up, rank up and ascend any other Armiger you plan to use. For tournaments and events where you're not going for first place, 20 is the most energy efficient.

This is awesome! I have Paragon and just pulled a 2nd Mordecai. Thinking I'll use both of them along with Jinglehunter and put a low level Armiger in the lead like you showed... I'm only on Spider 19 at the moment, so I'm hoping this same strat will work for the prior levels, just with a low ranked weak affinity champ in the lead.

Ultimate Galek doesn't work alot of the time because he decreases the turn meter sometimes on the spiderlings on his aoe HP burn. This causes the spiderlings to go between Paragon and the 2* armiger

A respons after a year. Just trying this setup, but strangely the first spiderling puts his poison on Armiger (lead) and then the rest attack Paragon. That goes terribly wrong. Armiger is at 156 and Paragon 151 on Stage 11. Trying to make the HP on Paragon higher to see if that makes a difference.

Does Drexthar or Ultimate Galek work as a substitute because the game has STILL trolled me on Mordecai...even now.. The rest including a Spare Lich I pulled AFTER I fused Rhazin is still available! Both of my accounts have a Drexthar...I'm hoping he works vs the higher spiders because I've put quite a bit into him... I have Deacon for Spider but I think he messes up this specific setup so he needs a different setup I have him at 60 now!

The rare voids room doesn't do me a lot of favors rn because my only 6 star rare void is Coldheart and she needs some protection so I'm thinking I'm gonna have to help her protectors Doom Screech etc...because grinding the actual secret rooms over again doesn't help.. Not that I cannot climb the regular Doom Tower the secret rooms are more annoying by far because some of my strongest champions like Rhazin, Drexthar and Deacon cannot do them!

[EDIT: When I wrote this, I hadn't realized I had a problem with Paragon's masteries -- see my other comment below, on Mar 6th] This strategy doesn't work anymore. Even when I tune Armiger and Paragon at the same speed (181, in my test case), after Armiger takes his third turn, a spiderling kills him right before Paragon has the chance to cast the unkillable buff. They must have changed the AI sometime within the past year. There's no way to run this strategy on AUTO. The only workaround I found was to reduce Armiger's speed and *manually* cast the unkillable on him, before the previous buff expires. Anyway this video was very interesting, thank you.

YES! Indeed it wasn't working because I had all those Turn Meter boosts selected in the support mastery tree. After resetting and tuning Armiger and Paragon to 158 speed, the comp now beats Spider on full auto. Thank you so much for your attention. I would've given up if you hadn't taken the time to reply. Believe i fixed this part but now he won't target arbiter. Hes at 5k power while no one else is under 15k. Will not target him.

Arbiter's rank is too high. She's a 5 star at minimum. Rank is one factor that the spiderlings look at, how many pieces of gear is another, and so is ascensions. Your tank must have significatly lower ranks than the rest of the team, preferrable not be fully geared, no ascensions, and less levels.

I've tried this out with Paragon at speed 153 and Armiger at 158. For some reason, after the 2nd turn, Armiger loses his unkillable and killed by a random spidering before Paragon has a chance to reapply the unkillable buff. Is there something that I'm missing? Does Paragon have to be exactly at 151?

double check on paragon and armiger to make sure they don't have any turn meter boosting masteries, or no one else turn meter boosts them.

Spider 15 can be weird for some reason. So sometimes it will not work right on 15, but the rest should be fine.

This strat no longer works,i have paragon at 151 speed with boots and shield,level 40 and ascended to rank 4.I have armiger at 152 speed,lower HP than paragon.If i put armiger as tank,paragon will place the unkillable on armiger but the spiderlings will target paragon.If i put paragon as leader he will place the unkillable on himself but the spiderlings will target armiger.

Not working for me at all! SO CONFUSED! My team is Arm Visix Mord Allure and Parag. Arm is 20 and not Ascended Parag is 40 and fully Ascended Allure is 60 Fully Ascended Mordi 50 fully Ascended and Visix is 60 Fully Ascended. and everyone is at stats your video recommends. spiders kill Paragon first then Mord and I'm only fighting spider 22 which has the same affinity as spider 25, what is going on?!
