Two handed fury is better than arms in a strict warrior VS warrior matchup. If health pots are banned, then the reduced healing from MS is useless and Deathwish will remove the possibility of him fearing you in battle stance to bandage himself; not to mention it's 20% more damage for nearly the whole fight. You can also take improved Demo shout to reduce his damage further and improved intercept which will give you more stun windows when his is still on CD. Arms spec could give you more crit if you use axes, but remember when you crit you will proc his enrage. Warrior vs warrior is super RNG, because you can charge, hamstring crit for 100 dmg and proc his enrage for free which griefs you super hard. That being said, at least if you crit in fury spec, you will have flurry advantage. 100% win chance vs Tyler is the following: Opener - Wear a shield and sword, charge in or walk into melee. Get up a hamstring and wait for him to disarm you with your shield on (He always disarms super early). Then Demo shout him/shield block and wait out the disarm. After the disarm ends, you pop deathwish so you can't get feared, go D-stance and disarm him, then you pop recklessness and bloodthirst him. The duel should end pretty quickly when he's disarmed and you have deathwish/reck up. He will be helpless.

Yeah I wasnt sure if they were spec'img Arms for this, bc I agree Arms is way to RNG 1v1. 2h weap swings take foreverr when you have almost no rage: if one miss and you literally arent doing dmg and not gaining rage for like 6 secs (assuming weapon swing is 2.5~3.0secs per). Even in pvp I always felt more comfortable in Fury since I mostly raided and didnt pvp much til arena in BC. I think its mostly bc of intercept. Not being able rush in and stun in combat is kinda lame, and changing stances wastes a ton of rage, even when spec'd into the talent that lessens it, and Biotox gave him good advice about it mostly being about using your rage efficiently.

As many bs rules as tyler put out, I would force a no racial abilities so he doesn't get to warstomp you anytime you get close to him. He has a pritty solid advantage with that ability alone. Also overthinking it and screwing over your apm is a factor soda needs to consider. @@Timmahh85 the fights are going to end faster then usual bc of crappy gear. lvl 60 warriors are going to have very bad health regen in general bc it scales with spirit, which they neglect entirely. The stat normally is good early bc of its base stat but lvl 60 its a tiny amount compared to your health pool. The 5 percent hp from tauren is gonna be on par with it and the best way to balance out this match.

Fight with 1h and shield, that's what I'd do. Disarm screws you over less since you're tankier. One miss screws you over less since the duel goes on longer. The longer the duel, the more skill matters.

you are only allowed 1 consumable, we know he is taking LIP, but because you are using stupid weapons and armor, you need to test to see whats better: 1. Free Action potion > to avoid the warstomp and the hamstring 2. Major stoneshield > can be such an armor boost compared to the full set that it makes a difference 3. Mighty rage > might get you out of a rage deficit problem 3. Regen pot > might take so long that with your passive adding up to the pot might make a diff Also, duel on top of a Thousand Needles mountain, the arena might put him off from fear of falling + his poor ability to move around

It's like doing a 1v1 Trynd duel in League with no sums, same Runes (1 person gets MR instead of Armor rune), no bushes, same skill lvl 1, no minions, no turrets, no items. That's exactly what Tyler has built out the rule set to accomplish. He doesn't want soda to be able to use his literal decades of knowledge to out-theory craft him or out play him using the full tech of professions, pots, FA, terrain/Los, etc. By reducing it to rng, he gives himself the best chance and soda can't tell him "no" without Tyler and all his chat calling him a coward or something.
