Because he’s willing to organize the guild with all the work that’s involved (like making these tutorials while dealing with others talking over him) and has the ability to do it (not everybody can teach or have the patience to deal with others). I’ve found that people who are a bit insufferable are better at managing large groups of people. They have stronger personal boundaries and are willing to call people out on bullshit. They won’t let 1 or a few people cause a bunch of bullshit. People overly concerned with making others happy can’t do that.
